BCG Attorney Search has worked in Boston for over ten years. We have worked with thousands of attorney candidates and have successfully placed attorneys with the top firms in the area. Many of BCG’s Boston-area recruiters are attorneys themselves, with law degrees from top law schools and experience working in the country’s most prestigious law firms. Our recruiters know what it takes to excel in the legal profession and understand exactly what law firms are looking for in candidates at every level of practice. BCG recruiters are committed to using their insight and talents to help forge mutually beneficial and long-term employment relationships between attorneys and law firms.

Recruiters Stay with Candidates from Application to Interview and Beyond

Unlike other legal staffing firms, we take the time to get to know our candidates face-to-face. Since our recruiters were attorneys themselves, we know the right questions to ask and we know what to look for in an attorney. We strive for excellence and to exceed expectations by getting to know each attorney personally. We do not just gather facts on paper about academic achievements or work history, but we get to know the attorney personally as well as professionally. We walk our attorneys through every step in the recruiting process and make sure they learn as much as possible about the law firms before they ever go to interviews. We also follow up after each interview with both the attorney and the law firm to ensure that both parties had an ideal experience and obtained whatever information they need to make future decisions.

National and International Attorney Placements

We have built lifelong relationships with top law firms in Boston and New England, as well as throughout the entire United States and world. Our recruiters are constantly studying market trends and cultivating relationships with law firms. We know each firm and we know precisely what each firm is looking for at all times. We take the time to understand each firm’s culture, personality, work ethic and expectations. We want to know that each attorney we send to a law firm can and will succeed, not only for the attorney’s sake but also so that the law firm will thrive and meet its goals.

At BCG, we always maintain a very strict Code of Conduct with the attorneys with whom we work. We do not share any information about an attorney with any law firm unless the attorney has given us his or her direct permission to do so. We believe that confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

Our Database Consists of Top-Tier Law Firms and Attorneys

We work with the top attorneys and top law firms in the world. We have a database that far exceeds that of our competitors and we are confident that we have the most prestigious attorneys available for the best law firms throughout Boston and the entire United States. We go above and beyond all others to be able to provide access to the best law firm positions for each attorney with whom we work.

BCG's assistance with my job search was invaluable. Being relatively new to this city, I had some basic degree of knowledge regarding the personalities of the different firms in town; but my recruiter was able to fill in a lot of holes. His recommendations as to which firms would suit my interests and which seemed to be in the market for lateral associates with my qualifications were very sound. After working with me to come up with a list of firms to target, he prepared a cover memo that would accompany my resume; his memo made a concise, powerful case as to why I would be a perfect candidate for the target firms. And it was effective: I received an interview with the firm I was most interested in, was invited back for another round of interviews, and ultimately received and accepted the firm's offer. My recruiter in Boston was a good sounding board throughout the interview process; and, in short, he gets my strong, unqualified endorsement as a levelheaded and knowledgeable resource for any lawyer looking to make a move in this area.

Over the course of the past year, I worked with over a dozen Boston area legal recruiters. Your recruiter turned out to be, by far, the best recruiter I found and was ultimately the one who placed me in a new position. The vast majority of recruiters I found worked off of a model which was, I believe, in direct opposition to my best interests as a candidate they started with a list of open positions and tried to force me into one of their existing profiles. He did the opposite; he spent a substantial amount of time with me at the beginning of the process and learned about my skill set and what I was looking for. He then wrote detailed introduction letters on my behalf, which he submitted not only to employers with posted positions but also to employers who were not hiring but who seemed like a good fit. In addition to being pleased with the amount of time and effort he invested in my search, I was impressed by his knowledge of the greater Boston legal market and understanding of how my specific skill set matched or didn't [match] available positions. He was a very pleasant person to work with and always responded quickly and helpfully to my questions. I have recommended him to numerous colleagues and would continue to do so, without reservation, to anyone in the market. He is a refreshing and effective exception to the impersonal cold-call culture that unfortunately seems to dominate the recruiting area.

-

"Thank you so much for taking the time to prepare me for the interview. Without your guidance, I most certainly would not have been as crisp as I was that day!"
