[My favorite thing about working with BCG was] great about getting interviews. I have worked with other recruiters before and independently and I had little success getting interviews and Becca was great and consistently ensuring that I was actively involved in the process. I liked how she coached me or gave me the option for a call prior to each interview. That was a helpful touch that I hadn't experienced with other recruiters.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

I worked full time, 9-10 hours a day, so knowing and being confident that Becca was working behind the scenes made it easier for me to still perform my job well but also have access to opportunities. I liked that fact that there were all kinds of lists of firms available. And to go back to my first point, I really trusted Becca because I was constantly having interviews so she was definitely working on my behalf and all I had to do was show up for the interviews. It was a great accommodation of my schedule.

Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

The best! The best in terms of advice, giving different options, and again, getting all of the interviews. Out of the other recruiters I worked with Becca is definitely the best.

I loved the daily updates and reminders. I also loved how I felt like BCG was on my side and gave me validation before my interview. I felt like you have top firms and I did not have to waste time searching through the job postings for higher end firms I would want to work for.

BCG was proactive, responsive, and helpful in assisting my job search.
BCG Attorney Search provided a vehicle for getting my information to more quality firms than I would have on my own.

My legal placement professional made the process very simplified for me. She explained everything step by step and didn't get annoyed when I had silly or stupid questions, I really used her a lot throughout the process. She read through my writing sample, she wrote cover letters for me, anytime I would email back and forth with a law firm I would send the email to her and have her read it over first. She was really an invaluable resource for me. I really enjoyed working with her! She was holding my hand through every step. She was always available when I called or texted her, even when it was at night, which I really appreciated. I know I personally don't like being bothered by work stuff at all hours, but she didn't make me feel bad about reaching out to her. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you have used?A. I used a recruiting firm a few years ago but BCG and my legal placement professional were far more helpful than the other firm I used.

I enjoyed how responsive Jessica was. She always made time to keep me updated and answered my questions. Jessica made my job search easier because I did not have to directly reach out to employers, my resume was sent and then Jessica advised me which employers were interested. Jessica was amazing and really made the job-search process easier.

I have never used any other recruiting companies, but I would recommend your company.

I appreciated how I felt my legal placement professional was really personable and friendly. She wanted to get in touch personally and it didn't feel like an impersonal form email. I worked with other recruiters where it felt like every correspondence was not actually written by them and it was some form letter and I didn't feel that way with my legal placement professional at all which I really appreciated. There was access to job postings that I wasn't finding on my own. There was some negotiation because I am a plaintiff's side attorney and I really wanted to stick with plaintiff's side work. Initially I was open to looking at defense side opportunities, but I really found out that that wasn't the route for me so we had to negotiate that shift of finding only plaintiff side opportunities. I know that was a little bit more challenging for my legal placement professional because of the seniority level that I was at and the sheer number of plaintiff side opportunities is a lot less. After we worked through that process she heard me and found the plaintiff side opportunity that ended up working out for me.I wanted to also give a shout out to Brian, who was my legal placement professional's supervisor. He gave some great interview tips and I appreciated his interview cheat sheet that he supplied to me. I had so many interviews that by the end I was declining the offer to get that prep because I had heard it and used the cheat sheet; however, initially in the process it was super helpful. I also appreciated that that offer was always there. Brian always reached out before an interview and said if you would like to talk before the interview let me know. That attention was really welcome and appreciated.

I probably [am] a little different than most people's experience. I was contacted by my recruiter. She was passed by the employer for finding a candidate for the position. I had not been looking to work with a recruiter or even look for another job outside of my current position. But it seemed like a good fit. Some of my favorite things were the recruiter herself was very personable, very informative, [and] very easy to work with and she really helped guide the process. I don't think she gave me any feedback on my resume or cover letter, but she did give me some information to help prepare for the interview. She gave me feedback after the interview, and was very helpful in helping me negotiate the final employment agreement. [BCG is] helpful, informative, and friendly. I would recommend you guys. If someone is looking for a new position, I would definitely recommend that they reach out to [you]. The person I worked with was great. It helps to rely on [a recruiter] to guide [you] through the process. It was a good experience.

[One of my favorite things about working with my legal placement professional and BCG were] the regular weekly emails that I could approve and not approve. I liked that it generated an automated response that [my legal placement professional] got it and [was] working on it and submitting [me], so that was a really nice feature. It makes you feel like you are moving forward. I didn't really have to do much, BCG did everything which, when you are a practicing attorney, you really need because there are so many deadlines that you are working with professionally, so for me, it made it really simple. [my legal placement professional and BCG] did a really great job!

Sarah is just a great spirited person and very energetic and lots of great ideas. She kept everything going and on the ball. BCG has a really great computer generated programs that really keep you motivated and keep you focused on what you are doing and Sarah worked will with it to keep your focus. I think that is what really sets [BCG] apart! I haven't used a recruiter in a while but from what I recall no one has had a system like that in the past and you guys really stand out in that regard.[BCG made my job search] a million times easier! You really took the burden of digging off of me and presented a lot of firms that I would have never thought of - including the place I am going to. You found all the jobs for me and presented them to me and I was able to just say Yes or No. You did all the leg work for me and once the ball got rolling and I had some interviews going I was able to shine from there. The idea of putting my resume out to firms that are not necessarily looking is a really phenomenal idea. I am not sure if the firm that took me in for interviews were actively looking or just starting to look but I think that is what actually happened.Sarah's positive attitude was really great and I will absolutely recommend her to anybody I know that is looking to move. Sarah was a pleasure to work with. I started this process slowly a couple years ago and I recently started it up again with Sarah - in the meantime I had reached out to a couple other New York based recruiter's and had some really negative experiences with them. They would tell me that since I had been in house for the past couple years and since I hasn't been as active and don't have an active client base and they pretty much just told me I was "out to pasture" and Sarah had a totally different take on that. She would tell me "don't worry about it, we're going to get through this and find your place" and sure enough I did. Not only that, I found a place that I didn't ever think I could be as happy with the situation I am in. Sarah also advised me well when I had multiple offers at the same time; she really helped me navigate that process. She did an excellent job from start to finish. I appreciate that she cared about me and not just her fee. It was really about me and that is RARE! She really encouraged me to apply to places that were good for me for where I am in my life and she also did a lot of research on the firms before sending me there.

She was very concerned with what I was looking for and she gave me realistic expectations about figure out what I was looking for in a new job. She also opened up a lot of jobs and positions that wouldn't have been available on my own. [The process was easier because] I had more job postings to look at and Carolina provided information on the firms that wasn't necessarily available online, so that was great.
