I enjoyed how responsive Jessica was. She always made time to keep me updated and answered my questions. Jessica made my job search easier because I did not have to directly reach out to employers, my resume was sent and then Jessica advised me which employers were interested. Jessica was amazing and really made the job-search process easier.

I have never used any other recruiting companies, but I would recommend your company.

I loved the daily updates and reminders. I also loved how I felt like BCG was on my side and gave me validation before my interview. I felt like you have top firms and I did not have to waste time searching through the job postings for higher end firms I would want to work for.

My legal placement professional really helped me negotiate an unusual circumstance, in that I left Los Angeles and my husband and I wanted to take some time off before beginning a new job. I know that is kind of an unusual request and most law firms don't tend to like their candidates to do that. I made it clear that I had a particular start date and she had me negotiate and find somewhere that would work with that. That was certainly one of the most important aspects. It certainly made it [my job search] easier that I didn't have to look so hard and the opportunities came to me. I had asked she to keep an eye on the market for me and let me know when something came up. It wasn't on me to be constantly monitoring things; she would do that for me.

I have been working as an attorney since 1988. I recently decided to look for new employment and reached out to BCG. My advisor at BCG helped me with my resume and interview skills. My resume was then quickly sent to numerous firms that matched my qualifications. Within a few months, I had several interviews and offers and am now working at a firm that I love.

I think my favorite thing was just how proactive she was. She was sending my resume out to firms that she had connections with that weren't necessarily looking for a new attorney position.

That's actually how I got my job, she reached out to the firm I'm with now. They weren't necessarily looking, but they set up an interview and then it just worked out perfectly. It made it so much easier. She took care of scheduling the interviews, getting the interviews, making sure that I was prepared for the interviews. She took care of everything for me.

This was my first time working with a recruiting company so, they're at the top of my list right now.

What where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Carolina? Carolina really listened my experience and what I wanted from a new firm. She took into account what I had liked before and what I wasn't liking at my current job. She talked to me on a personal level that other recruiters didn't. She was able to understand me in a more personal way which really helped us work together and also helped her be motivated towards helping me. There were times when I would say "Oh, I thought this opportunity would be good for you" and we would talk about why I might not have felt the same. She was the best recruiter that I had worked with who really gave me an accurate view of the market. I really understood what I was getting into in the job search. How did working with us make you job search easier? It was nice to get the weekly and every other daily emails reminding me to look at the list and reordering it different ways. It was really making me explain why I didn't like the firm even if it is just that I didn't think I would fit in there. Whenever I told Carolina; for example, that I didn't like the reputation of a certain firm, she would just move on and really respected my choices. The reminders for BCG, though sometimes they could a little overwhelming because they were always popping up, were really helpful because they WERE always popping up and reminding me that I am working now but that I was still doing a job search too which also requires a lot of time and effort. Is there anything else you would like to add about your experience? A million times praise Carolina! She was so attentive to what I wanted and what I needed on a personal and emotional level.

I appreciated how I felt my legal placement professional was really personable and friendly. She wanted to get in touch personally and it didn't feel like an impersonal form email. I worked with other recruiters where it felt like every correspondence was not actually written by them and it was some form letter and I didn't feel that way with my legal placement professional at all which I really appreciated. There was access to job postings that I wasn't finding on my own. There was some negotiation because I am a plaintiff's side attorney and I really wanted to stick with plaintiff's side work. Initially I was open to looking at defense side opportunities, but I really found out that that wasn't the route for me so we had to negotiate that shift of finding only plaintiff side opportunities. I know that was a little bit more challenging for my legal placement professional because of the seniority level that I was at and the sheer number of plaintiff side opportunities is a lot less. After we worked through that process she heard me and found the plaintiff side opportunity that ended up working out for me.I wanted to also give a shout out to Brian, who was my legal placement professional's supervisor. He gave some great interview tips and I appreciated his interview cheat sheet that he supplied to me. I had so many interviews that by the end I was declining the offer to get that prep because I had heard it and used the cheat sheet; however, initially in the process it was super helpful. I also appreciated that that offer was always there. Brian always reached out before an interview and said if you would like to talk before the interview let me know. That attention was really welcome and appreciated.

One of the best things was my recruiter, Carleen. She was upbeat and sincere. She found opportunities for me and showed me how I should do my job search. She gave me ideas since I am senior and had to reinvent myself. She showed me how I should sell myself.

BCG in general is very organized and they have a lot of contacts and bring opportunities that are not in the market. You guys are one of the best for finding law firms, if you are looking to be recruited to the best law firms, you have the corner on the market.

Sarah is just a great spirited person and very energetic and lots of great ideas. She kept everything going and on the ball. BCG has a really great computer generated programs that really keep you motivated and keep you focused on what you are doing and Sarah worked will with it to keep your focus. I think that is what really sets [BCG] apart! I haven't used a recruiter in a while but from what I recall no one has had a system like that in the past and you guys really stand out in that regard.[BCG made my job search] a million times easier! You really took the burden of digging off of me and presented a lot of firms that I would have never thought of - including the place I am going to. You found all the jobs for me and presented them to me and I was able to just say Yes or No. You did all the leg work for me and once the ball got rolling and I had some interviews going I was able to shine from there. The idea of putting my resume out to firms that are not necessarily looking is a really phenomenal idea. I am not sure if the firm that took me in for interviews were actively looking or just starting to look but I think that is what actually happened.Sarah's positive attitude was really great and I will absolutely recommend her to anybody I know that is looking to move. Sarah was a pleasure to work with. I started this process slowly a couple years ago and I recently started it up again with Sarah - in the meantime I had reached out to a couple other New York based recruiter's and had some really negative experiences with them. They would tell me that since I had been in house for the past couple years and since I hasn't been as active and don't have an active client base and they pretty much just told me I was "out to pasture" and Sarah had a totally different take on that. She would tell me "don't worry about it, we're going to get through this and find your place" and sure enough I did. Not only that, I found a place that I didn't ever think I could be as happy with the situation I am in. Sarah also advised me well when I had multiple offers at the same time; she really helped me navigate that process. She did an excellent job from start to finish. I appreciate that she cared about me and not just her fee. It was really about me and that is RARE! She really encouraged me to apply to places that were good for me for where I am in my life and she also did a lot of research on the firms before sending me there.

I'd say right from the get-go you guys were very detail-oriented, really focused on my particular profile and helped me build my skills and draft my resume in a way that will be good for me. We started working just a year ago. Throughout the year, I was always contacted by the team that had placements to offer, and you kept on searching and a year after we started working together, it all panned out. It's been great.

I think it made it significantly easier in that instead of me having to look for the positions that would be a match for my profile, which is very time consuming, even though you may have LinkedIn or other services that help you, it's just time consuming and frustrating because you work on it so hard and then it's not always good news after you present your credentials. Having that done for me made the process significantly easier on my schedule and allowed me to focus on my current work and my academic activities instead of dedicating a couple hours every day or every week to do a job search.

I think, hands down, the best. Absolutely, the best. The first conversations that we've had, your team always read my curriculum before having the conversation with me. They did research on my profile, and what was I good at, and my publications. They knew all of that before talking to me, so they were able to keep the conversation very on point, very productive, because they already knew what my profile was. That's something that nobody else did for me. It's been great, really, absolutely great.
