Morrison Cohen welcomes Mahnoor Misbah to the firm as an associate in the Business Litigation Department.
Mahnoor has extensive experience working for the New York State Unified Court System. Prior to joining Morrison Cohen, Mahnoor clerked for the Hon. Lizbeth González in the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, where she assisted in drafting appellate opinions. Mahnoor also clerked for the Hon. Saliann Scarpulla in the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division, where she assisted in drafting decisions concerning issues related to commercial law, including breach of contract and fiduciary duties, unjust enrichment and business torts. Prior to that role, Mahnoor clerked for the Hon. Arlene P. Bluth in the New York State Supreme Court, Center for Complex Litigation, where she assisted in drafting decisions and conducting discovery conferences.
Mahnoor is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and serves as the co-chair of the State Courts Committee of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Section. Mahnoor is fluent in Urdu.
Mahnoor graduated from Fordham University School of Law and Adelphi University.
