BCG Attorney search is a pleasure to work with.

My decision to work with BCG to obtain a lateral associate position was well made. My recruiter demonstrated a remarkable wealth of knowledge regarding the legal market as well as a tireless effort to help me find the right fit. Moreover, after having received an offer at a top firm, when a client conflict issue arose which could have resulted in the offer being withdrawn, she personally helped me work through the issue to successfully resolve it, all the while keeping my spirits up. I could not have asked to work with a better recruiter!

My recruiter was referred to me through a friend after I had attempted to work with several other recruiters with unhappy results. I was trying to do what many of them thought was nearly impossible - not only switch practice areas, but also transition back into Big Law after several years of not practicing law at all. Unlike other recruiters who'd quickly given up, she stayed positive, optimistic, and encouraging about my goal. She was always responsive, made me feel like a priority, and worked hard to find me opportunities. And together, we made the impossible possible. Thank you!

I thought that my recruiter, was exceptionally professional and was always very quick with her responses. I never really had to wait. When she explained things I'd ask lots of questions and she never seemed like she was impatient with the process. I really enjoyed working with her. I liked the weekly updates. It was easy for me to keep track of the places I had applied to and the status. I also liked being able to go in and check the website. The third thing I liked was the large network of firms that you guys have an association with. I was able to apply to many, many places using one recruiter, which was nice.I feel like after one initial 30-40 minute phone call with my legal placement professional she kind of took the reins from there. Whenever I decided I wanted to apply to more places she did it for me. So it was a huge help not having to prepare materials and cover letters and things like that for all of these different places. I just said I'd like to apply to these extra places and she'd do it. This made the process much easier for me.I think of BCG Attorney Search as extremely professional. I would say I was really impressed with them. I talked with some other recruiters and they all just seemed much more casual and dismissive and not quite as important. I feel like my legal placement professional was exceptionally professional.Among other recruiting companies I have worked with, I would say BCG ranks at the top.I would recommend that other attorneys look into you specifically if they are looking to make a move or at least get a feel for the market. From my experience you guys are patient, have lots of relationships, and do a good job presenting candidates and being intermediaries. I would definitely recommend that they consider BCG.

Following my initial consultation with BCG, my recruiter came back to me with an extensive list of firms who were looking for someone with my level of experience. All were very suitable, several impressive, and some outstanding.

Thank you for all of your help with the job hunt, but we can stop the presses--at least for now. Yesterday I accepted a federal clerkship with a district judge for the next 21 months. Hopefully we can work together as my clerkship comes to an end, and the clerkship makes me a bit more marketable. That would be profitable for both of us! I have to say, I have always been leery of recruiters and tried avoiding them at all costs. You've been the only one who actually did what I imagined a recruiter should do -- and, landing the position was a bonus. I'll definitely be referring you to friends in the future.
