Job Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings nationwide in state and federal courts.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and analysis on various case-specific and broader legal issues.
  • Participate actively in trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, providing first- and second-chair trial support as required.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff to prepare cases for trial.
  • Develop litigation strategies based on client goals and the specifics of the case.
  • Engage directly with clients to provide legal advice, updates on case progress, and strategic planning.
  • Assist with the deposition process, including preparing questions and cross-examining witnesses.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Maryland Bar.
  • 3-6 years of litigation experience, including significant first or second-chair trial experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal writing and research.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
