V&E Global Tax Practice Boosted With New Member
Summary: The Global Tax group at Vinson & Elkins welcomed a new partner to their Washington D.C. office.
Vinson & Elkins added a new partner to their Global Tax practice in Washington D.C. Natan Leyva will focus on international tax planning matters. Leyva joins from Ernst & Young LLP where he was a principal on the National Tax Department.

Leyva’s previous experience include leading Ernst & Young’s repatriation and foreign tax planning initiatives as well as advising in cross-border partnership structures. He will use this experience to advise clients with foreign tax credits, foreign currency transactions, the subpart F regime, and other outbound tax planning aspects.
V&E Managing Partner Scott Wulfe said, “Natan has an excellent reputation nationally for his in-depth knowledge of international tax issues, which become more important to our clients every day in light of developments in the U.S. and other jurisdictions. Leyva also brings extensive experience counseling large multinational companies in offshore restructurings, intellectual property transactions, foreign tax credit and repatriation planning, and more. He is able to help foreign companies with inbound tax matters and has represented clients with IRS challenges regarding foreign tax credits and international tax issues.
