I also want to thank you so much for all of your help, I had a great experience with BCG, especially with everything that happened. For me to land this job so quick was nothing short of amazing, and I think it is a fantastic fit. I really appreciate your help, especially in helping to prepare for the interview. Again, I think you did a terrific job and I am really happy the way everything turned out.

I liked how once your registered to the website you can see positions that were open that matched my criteria, which offices and cities they were in, so that was pretty easy. It showed my resume was at some firm, like a sub status. Like if it was pending, if I had an interview if they rejected me or haven't yet, so that was very convenient. Carleen was very good about sending email communications and she was very responsive. It seems with other recruiters, it took several recruiters to cover such a big area, but with BCG, it was very easy and very centralized and they allowed me to search all of the locations, 3 states, with one centralized database. So it doesn't get more efficient than that. I didn't have to worry about reaching out to a recruiter in every single different city I may be interested in. I basically just submitted my criteria to the database and it automatically went to Carleen and she updated me right away on positions and it was very efficient that way. Honestly, in my experience, the service that was provided was basically in its own category. It's the most comprehensive enterprise solution and no other service I have worked with even came close. I was confused how to go about my job search and how to get the ball rolling, but once I made the decision to look for a job, I didn't just want to sit on my hands and wait for recruiters to reach out to me, I decided I wanted to get the ball rolling, so I went online and Googled Legal Recruiters and BCG was the top result. I registered and within a day or so, I was speaking with Harrison Barnes on the phone and we got the process started. I have never had the kind of access to information that I did with the whole database with BCG.

I liked that BCG assigned me a personal recruiter who I had a conversation with. That was really nice and I liked the direct contact with Harrison Barnes, that made me feel appreciated. I feel really appreciated with one on one time. I had really great conversations with the recruiters that I worked with and I thought that they were excellent. They didn't make any mistakes and were excellent.

BCG was great because they were able to target so many different firms of interest for me.I was actually really shocked because my target area was limited to San Diego, which is somewhat smaller, legal market than other major cities. And I think by the time everything was said and done almost a hundred firms had been applied to on my behalf which was astounding. Just the sheer volume of applications that BCG was able to put in on my behalf was one of the best things that I could not have done by myself.For one, I didn't have to search job boards or submit anything to anyone, it made it so easy that BCG was able to submit everything on my behalf, and find all of those openings that I probably would not have been able to find on my own.Another great thing about BCG was the interview prep. I worked with someone named Patrick I believe, and he was just phenomenal. He, and I had a couple conversations in which we practiced questions and answers to interviews. I actually learned a lot about how to field those questions and perform better in interviews.I worked with a couple other recruiting companies, and they would only find me one or two potential opportunities. Whereas BCG, found me almost a hundred. Other companies did not have interview prep, whereas BCG did, it was a lot more hands-on and individual focused rather than just trying to place someone at any firm that they can try to place them that, which is great.

[BCG] essentially handled everything, so it was really low stress on my end.I don't think I would have been able to find the opportunity on my own, honestly. So I think that was the most invaluable part, just becoming aware [of that].[BCG is] helpful and professional.I have already recommended [BCG Attorney Search] to friends. I [would say you are] highly recommendable and helpful.

[My favorite thing about working with BCG] was that it was very little work for me to do which is what I was looking for. My legal placement professional knew who was hiring and I knew very little about the market before talking to her, she made it all super easy and honestly it was a lot faster than I expected. I think I talked to her and then within a week I had an interview for the next week and then I had an offer the next day so I appreciated that she was just very efficient. BCG and my legal placement professional covered everything. I told her what I was looking for, the type of practice and which market I was looking at and she did everything else. I was stressed about how I was going to do it and she completely took it off my plate. BCG is number 1.

I love the ease of using BCG Attorney Search. It happened so easily and so quickly. I like how you guys sent the link with the proposed firms, and I got to mark up which ones that I was interested in and which ones I wasn't, I thought that was really convenient., the ease and convenience were my favorite thing. BCG is the top recruiting firm, so happy I got the job.

She was on it and didn't pester too much but stayed in contact. She didn't just communicate via email, she also sent texts so that gives a little more of a personal touch. It makes it seems like things are moving and they actually care and that you aren't just one out of a million applicants. I know that is a hard thing to balance for recruiters. They are either not on it or they are pestering you all of the time, one of the two. She found the right balance of that.

You have a nice online portal where you can pick the firms that you want to apply to and reject the ones that you already applied to or plan on doing yourself. I thought that was a nice feature. I have worked with a bunch of other companies and nobody else has anything like that. It is usually just email communications and a lot of times they won't even tell you who the firm is so you are just wasting your time talking to people when they won't let you know. It is kind of a waste of time to go back and forth if you have already applied there or you don't want to work there so.

Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you have used?

A. I would put you at the top! I also thought a lot of the emails that you sent out to everybody were pretty helpful with tips and pitfalls to avoid, the interview process and making partner and all those sorts of things. I think those emails are really helpful to read.

My favorite thing about working with BCG was Carleen's responsiveness and attentiveness to what I was looking for in a firm as well as her diligence, once I believed I had found the firm for me. Working with BCG helped remove some stress away from what is a daunting process. It allowed me to place my attention elsewhere, knowing that my search process was in good hands. I would rank BCG at the top amongst other recruiting companies I have worked with. Between Carleen's tenacity to find a job, I would enjoy as well, Harrison's thoughtful blog posts. BCG is a great support for any lawyer enduring the lateral search process.
