A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Counsel or Partner-level Commercial Real Estate Attorney with a portable book of business. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience representing commercial real estate acquirers, sellers, developers, financiers, managers, or users, focusing on communication, collaboration, and execution.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, development, financing, and leasing.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on complex real estate matters.
  • Conduct due diligence on various real estate interests and review related documentation.
  • Address financial and accounting issues related to commercial real estate transactions.
  • Manage and review title opinions, draft objection letters, and resolve title issues.
  • Develop deep insights into commercial real estate markets in Texas and nationwide.
  • Collaborate with developers, banks, businesses, and entrepreneurs to provide tailored legal solutions.

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
  • 12-15 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
  • A portable book of business is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate transactions and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with managing and reviewing title opinions and resolving title issues.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with the Texas Bar.
