Trusts and Estates Attorney Joins Akerman Akerman LLP announced the addition of a trusts and estates partner to their Tax Practice Group. Stacey Prince-Troutman will be joining the Orlando office from Broad and Cassel. She will be a valuable addition to the firm as she is a member of the Florida Probate Rules Committee.

Prince-Troutman will advise individuals and families in trusts and estates, probate and transfer tax controversy matters with specific experience advising business owners and professional athletes. She works to administer estates and trusts, plan for wealth transfer and transfer tax minimization, prepare gift and estate tax returns, draft sophisticated estate and plan documents, draft documents related to formation, management and succession of closely held entities, wealth preservation planning, and form and obtain tax-exempt status for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
 
Prince-Troutman is an active member of the community and profession as a past member of the board of directors for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida, frequently speaking on asset protection and estate planning.
