I think the number of firms I was able to get my resume in front of was my favorite thing about BCG Attorney Search. This opened up a lot of firms to consider my application. They did a lot of the work for me so that I could continue focus on my current job instead of spending all of my time dealing with recruiting. In terms of outcome, for me personally, BCG is number 1!

Working with BCG was great. It was very communicative. They were not just talking to me and letting the ball roll, they were proactive in asking me if there was any assistance I needed, what I was interested in, and what I was curious to look in. Harrison talked with me personally on several occasions. It was overall a good experience, and I would recommend BCG to anyone that is doing a job search now.Working with BCG [made my search] a lot easier. There is a lot out there on the internet. Throughout my searches in the past years, which unfortunately have been frequent, it is easier to have a person on your team, and not needing to do it all for yourself. Overall the biggest thing I thought I benefitted from were Harrison's connections and his knowledge about different areas. He tried to get to the true nature of what I like and what I'll be happy in, and he was a go getter on my behalf.To be honest I have tried to do this on my own a couple times. In doing my research I realized that with big firms and big companies it's very tough to get someone to read past your cover letter. You have to come as a referral or have somebody recommending you. I did a couple cold calls, but me contacting the firm directly was not the same as something coming from a recruiter.If things didn't work out or if I didn't like where I was I would definitely reach out to you guys first.

I received the champagne you sent to my office--thank you very much for the thoughtful gift. Receiving your gift also made me realize that I never took time to thank you for your work in finding a new position for me. I selfishly forgot to acknowledge your hard work during the hectic transition between jobs and all of my wedding planning. For that I apologize, and please know that I am very grateful for your work. My legal placement professional was great and really creative in identifying some opportunities that I wouldn't have ordinarily thought of including Davis Wright, which is where I am going, so I think that was for me, the most unique and impressive part of it. She didn't just go to the easily identifiable firms that do what I do, but she looked at other firms and I thought that was good. For me, having a go between that has experience like my legal placement professional, being someone who knew my background and had someone who had a similar background as well and that had transitioned it, helped a lot to have her input in my resume, my business plan and the discussions I was having with some of the partners at the firms I was meeting with. I haven't worked with a lot of recruiters, but individually, my legal placement professional was very knowledgeable and for me the most important part was creative. She was looking for the opportunities that weren't usually clear that they had business similar to what I did, but places that wanted to get into my white collar area of the law, and that was for me, from my perspective, puts her among the best.

[My favorite thing about working with BCG Attorney Search was] that there was a level of contact every week. I have worked with other recruiters where basically you talk with them once and then you don't hear from them. So it was very nice that the recruiter that I worked with, Carleen, reached out to me at least once a week. I didn't have to do anything, it was great. She sent me the firms, I elected whether or not to put my hat in the ring and she drafted the cover letter. I was really able to sit back relax and wait and see what happened. [The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG Attorney Search are] helpful, professional, and successful. As of right now, [you are the] best [legal recruiting firm] I have worked with. [I would tell someone] that if they are looking for a legal job and if they would like to work with a recruiter I highly recommend they get in touch with you.

I loved attention that I received from BCG. I really felt valuable and that they were working really hard for me trying to find me a position and I really appreciated that. I think this made my job search easier because it brought the law firms to me. Made it easier to search for them, matched me with different firms that, with some algorithm or something, matched me up, but that made it much easier than me Googling firms or go about it in that way. I haven't worked with any other recruiting firms, but I would definitely give BCG a 10 out of 10 on my scale!

As a new attorney with less than a year of experience, I was skeptical that BCG could help me. I thought one needed an established practice to leverage a legal recruitment service. Thankfully, I was proved wrong. Almost immediately, I was interviewed for positions matching my aspirations. Moreover, it was a pleasure working with my legal placement professional. They were very helpful throughout the process; they found opportunities that interested me, provided helpful resources, and coached me for interviews. Overall, a good experience and will recommend.

[BCG] essentially handled everything, so it was really low stress on my end.I don't think I would have been able to find the opportunity on my own, honestly. I liked that BCG assigned me a personal recruiter who I had a conversation with. That was really nice and I liked the direct contact with Harrison Barnes, that made me feel appreciated. I feel really appreciated with one on one time. I had really great conversations with the recruiters that I worked with and I thought that they were excellent. They didn't make any mistakes and were excellent.
