It really seemed like my legal placement professional and BCG had a plan and were willing to work the problem. I had contacted other recruiters but I would very quickly get back a "No, there isn't really anything out there" whereas with my legal placement professional and BCG there was initially a long list of stuff. It was more of a "well, you may not be exactly the description they are looking for but a lot of times when people see a certain resume they want to talk to you." She was always very pleasant to talk to and seemed to have a good plan and moving forward. She seemed to be on top of a number of possibilities to at least explore, which was a lot better than any other search firm that I have contacted. It felt like progress was always being made.The online portal [made my job search easier] and also she gave me advice and we discuss things about my resume, which I thought was very helpful and gave me pointers from her perspective. It seemed like she vetted a lot of the firms first and then would give me the listing of firms and ask me to go through them. It wasn't a narrow focus and more of a broad focus and saying we have these number of firms, maybe you don't fit exactly what they are looking for but she would forward my information to them anyway because sometimes getting your resume sparks an idea or maybe they start thinking that maybe this person would fit. I think that is actually what happened with the firm where I landed, quite frankly. They hadn't even officially started advertising for a position and they got my resume it fit something else they thought would be a really good fit for them.my legal placement professional was a very easy person to work with. She offered great advice and wouldn't over inflate advice she was getting. She would tread the line between being hopeful and realistic. The products that BCG offered really seemed to be advantageous and very helpful. If I ever hear of another friend that is looking to make a move to another state or make a transition, the first place that I will point them is with my legal placement professional and BCG . Ya'll seem to really have developed an effective system. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's? A. I have worked with a few and as far as effectiveness I would definitely put you at the top!

My recruiter was very responsive in communicating with me during the job hunt. Communication was huge. Someone else doing the work for you is great. It's hard to penetrate the market sometimes or to know about opportunities so it was great to have eyes and ears where you don't and I think BCG really helped me out by having a foot in the game, that was very helpful. My legal placement professional was super responsive. I had some experiences with other places and that hasn't always been the case. My legal placement professional was particular well suited to work with me because she had the big firm background and has made moves away from that and that is what I was looking to do too. Even when I wasn't hearing from her I knew she was working because there would be something she was showing me, either new firms or just checking in. A lot of it was her constant communication and being really responsive. My legal placement professional was great and did a really good job and I enjoyed working with her!I ended up at a firm that frankly I probably wouldn't have heard of and when I researched it after she sent it to me I was like "wow!" I didn't even know they existed and didn't know they did what I was looking for. It gave me an idea of a lot of different firms that I probably wouldn't have even looked at. They found me a job! They would send me stuff every day and they set me up with the job I took. I was very surprised - I am still very young in my career and I didn't think a recruiter would work with me but they were pretty thorough.

Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

I talked with a few other ones and they would say "Hey, we will keep you in mind and put you up for stuff" and then I would never hear from them again. There was one where they kept putting me up for temp stuff and I told them I wasn't interested in that. I don't know how seriously any other company took my candidacy but it was really night and day.

Becca was extremely helpful! She was available by phone whenever I needed her and she gave me some helpful hints on the interview process. Ultimately, she got me exactly the job I was looking for.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

She found the job for me so didn't have to find it. She applied to the position for me and it wasn't even a listed position. I didn't have to go through the astonishingly burdensome process of uploading a resume and having it auto populate wrong, which I had to do on a number of the other websites/firms where I applied. She did everything and I didn't have to do anything at all apart from the law school part and showing up and not being a total a** in the interview.
Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

# 1 because none of the other companies got me a jobs, they got me interviews but nothing else, so you get first place for that. I worked with Parker Lynch and one other and I thought they were fine but Becca was much more responsive than the others.

Anything else?

One of the think that I experienced with a couple of recruiters in my time as a lawyer this year and you get someone that is really excited and they say "You've got a great resume, I've got all of these things, hang on a minute and I'll get right back with you on Tuesday and we are going to have interviews for you" and then 2 weeks later I email them because I haven't heard anything and I never got a response. That didn't happen here and it has happened with other places in this particular search. Becca was always there whenever I emailed so that is one thing that really sets your firm apart from the others.

What where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Harrisons' Team?

The fact that it was mostly automated. I would be asked to approve firms and approve jobs that my credentials would be sent to. This was mostly done electronically which I found very convenient.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

BCG did all the leg work. BCG found the job openings and reported them to me so all I had to do was approve the opening. It saved me time from having to go through individual law firm websites.

Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

BCG was the best. I did work with a couple other recruiter's and from my personal observation they had less access to job openings. I heard much more from BCG than I did from the other recruiters. The other recruiters tended to not be automated and I would get a phone call to discuss it in real time which often wasn't convenient and we ended up playing phone tag a lot. BCG was the best because of the volume of openings that BCG was able to get access to and because of the convenient nature of the interaction.
