Corporate Partner Joins Akin Gump
Summary: Akin Gump has added a new corporate attorney, Terrence R. Allen, to their Irvine, CA location.
Akin Gump welcomed Terrence R. Allen to their corporate group in Irvine, California. Allen, a public and private mergers and acquisitions attorney, will be a partner with the firm. Allen joins from Pepper Hamilton and previously Gibson Dunn.
Allen brings over two decades of experience working with companies, private equity funds and entrepreneurs in M&A transactions, joint ventures, venture capital investments, and governance and disclosure matters.
Akin Gump Chairperson Kim Koopersmith said, “Terry has a very strong corporate practice in the Southern California market that aligns very well with our team and our strategic goals for the region. His impressive record leading M&A deals across the technology, health care and consumer brands industries is a great fit for us as we continue to expand our client offerings on the West Coast.”
