Hogan Lovells Secures New Office in Philadelphia
Summary: After expanding their New York and Louisville offices last year, Hogan Lovells signed a lease for a new location in Philadelphia.
Their new office will feature seven state-of-the-art conference rooms, a café area, and a large multi-functional space. Managing Partner of the Philadelphia Office, Virginia A. Gibson, said, “We are excited to relocate to our new home. We are growing and this move is a part of our plan to continue that trajectory here in Philadelphia.”
The new building was developed in 1990 and is currently owned by Equity Commonwealth. The building features 1.3 million square feet, including other features like parking, transit, fitness facilities, entertainment, and dining.
Hogan Lovells has a strategic plan to enhance their capabilities in Philadelphia. They added partners Steven Abrams, Rachel Bushey and John Duke to their life sciences, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions teams. CEO Steve Immelt said, “We are deepening our bench in Philadelphia to better serve the demand of our clients. The new space will provide us with an opportunity to create the same innovative work environment that we have introduced in our offices in D.C., Denver, and Los Angeles.”
