Dennis Block Will Shift From Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP to Greenberg Traurig LLP

Dennis Block is leaving Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft LLP and joining Greenberg Traurig LLP as senior chairman of its global mergers and acquisitions practice on Sept. 12. Before joining Greenberg Traurig and Cadwalader Wickersham, he had worked on Pfizer Inc.'s $100 billion acquisition of Warner-Lambert, $60 billion purchase of Pharmacia and acquisition of Wyeth along with JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s buyout of Bear Stearns. Greenberg Traurig has more than 33 U.S. and international offices with about 1,800 lawyers. Its global mergers and acquisitions practice has more than 350 lawyers. Co-chair of Greenberg Traurig, Bruce Zirinsky, was Block's colleague in Cadwalader.
