He has additional experience in class action/complex litigation, contracts, business torts, non-compete litigation, civil rights claims, construction litigation, and medical malpractice. He is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed General Civil Mediator, mediating employment and commercial litigation.

“Brent is a highly-regarded litigator and labor law attorney who has well represented employers across Memphis and Mid-South over the last two decades. We are excited to bring in an attorney of his caliber,” said Clarence Wilbon, Adams and Reese Executive Committee Chair and Memphis Litigation Partner. “Brent’s wide knowledge of state and federal labor laws advising clients through a post-pandemic workplace; his representation of companies in front of state and federal administrative bodies; and his wide-ranging experience in employment-related litigation are all valuable assets to our Firm.”

Within his labor and employment practice and on the advice side, Siler drafts employment, contractor, and vendor agreements, as well as non-competition, non-solicitation, non-disclosure, confidentiality, and other agreements, policies, handbooks, and training materials. He is asked by clients, peers, business groups, and bar associations to provide training on employment-related laws and is also a frequent speaker, presenter, and author on labor and employment issues.

On the litigation side, Siler has defended employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, OSHA, non-compete, and employee benefits disputes, as well as whistleblower, wage and hour, ERISA, defamation, workers’ compensation, and other employment-related litigation.

He represents clients before state and federal administrative bodies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the United States Department of Labor, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the National Labor Relations Board. He represents clients in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations.

Siler earned his J.D. from The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, and he received his B.A. from the University of Memphis.
