Akerman LLP, a top 100 US law firm, welcomed another prominent attorney to their ranks. Experienced employment attorney Michelle Lee Flores is joining the firm’s Los Angeles office. Lee Flores will be a partner in their Labor and Employment Practice Group. She joins from Cozen O’Connor.

Lee Flores has deep experience with employment litigation, handling jury and bench trials, arbitration, mediation and pre-litigation negotiations. She advises clients on employment compliance, internal investigations, terminations, discipline, cannabis in the workplace, wage and hour, and reductions in force matters. She has received numerous mentions in national publications and recognitions, including being named as a Southern California Super Lawyer for the fifth year in a row.

She is also an active member of the community, including as a trustee of the boards of the Mexican American Bar Foundation and the University of California Press Foundation.
