K&L Gates Tries to Regain Stolen Funds from Casino

K&L Gates is suing Melco Crown Entertainment, which owns two casinos in Macau to recover its stolen funds that were gambled away but one of its ex-partners. Mavin Kumar Aggarwal, who was a corporate partner in K&L, resigned from the firm nine months ago and is now charged with forgery and theft. Aggarwal in a letter to the firm apologized for what he had done and admitted to using company funds to repay his gambling debts accumulated over the years.
