Husch Blackwell Sanders Merges with Welsh & Katz
Husch Blackwell Sanders, LLP, has merged with Chicago-based IP firm Welsh & Katz. This new firm would rank in the Am Law 100 at rank 88 today, so it probably will be in the elite rankings next year.

Troutman Sanders and Ross, Dixon & Bell Merge
Troutman Sanders and Ross, Dixon & Bell have merged to form Troutman Sanders, LLP, and will remain headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Troutman Sanders is in the Am Law 100 at rank 75, and the new firm will have more than 750 attorneys.

Morrison & Foerster Practice Group Honored
Morrison & Foerster recently had its global privacy and data security practice recognized as the best of its kind by Chambers and Partners, winning its US Award for Excellence. Morrison & Foerster beat out more than 60 other firms for the honor.
