I had burned through a bunch of recruiters who, after there was an initial flurry of excitement kind of fizzled out. Then I wouldn't hear from them until I heard from them. I really liked how BCG and especially my legal placement professional, the one that helped me, were reliable; they checked in, I got weekly reports. I knew that even if I didn't have an opportunity that week, I was still in her thoughts. I felt like I was well taken care of throughout the whole process. It seemed like my legal placement professional and BCG in general understood the market better and knew which firms were likely to hire and which firms were a no go. It just made the whole process a lot less frustrating. I was actually getting interviews with firms [instead of just] not hearing back at all. Not every interview worked out, but it was nice. I liked the weekly updates that I got, and I liked that my legal placement professional was always very available. She would text me or email me, was always pretty easy to get a hold of, and made herself available even on the weekends. It was easier to have someone else take care of it, and I knew she would always check in. She was willing to do as much or as little as I wanted her to, so that was really good. What where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Harrisons' Team?

The fact that it was mostly automated. I would be asked to approve firms and approve jobs that my credentials would be sent to. This was mostly done electronically which I found very convenient.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

BCG did all the leg work. BCG found the job openings and reported them to me so all I had to do was approve the opening. It saved me time from having to go through individual law firm websites.

Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

BCG was the best. I did work with a couple other recruiter's and from my personal observation they had less access to job openings. I heard much more from BCG than I did from the other recruiters. The other recruiters tended to not be automated and I would get a phone call to discuss it in real time which often wasn't convenient and we ended up playing phone tag a lot. BCG was the best because of the volume of openings that BCG was able to get access to and because of the convenient nature of the interaction.

I had access to a very large volume of opportunities and openings, I appreciated the depth of picturing experience in terms of things like resources to other people who have received offers from other places, and having that type of intel information that was available was helpful. BCG made my job search much easier as I was able to focus on things like preparing for interviews and other areas of researching the firms where I had received an invitation to interview with rather than spending my time researching firms that didn't show interest in the first place. I had more time for things like putting together emails and cover letters , that kind of first step. I have been very happy with BCG. I used BCG when I was placed with my old firm as well and I was very pleased with working with my recruiter and when I decided I was going to make a move, she was my first and only call and didn't even consider speaking with other people because I was so confident in her process and in working with BCG.

My legal placement professional was super responsive. I had some experiences with other places and that hasn't always been the case. My legal placement professional was particular well suited to work with me because she had the big firm background and has made moves away from that and that is what I was looking to do too. Even when I wasn't hearing from her I knew she was working because there would be something she was showing me, either new firms or just checking in. A lot of it was her constant communication and being really responsive. My legal placement professional was great and did a really good job and I enjoyed working with her!I ended up at a firm that frankly I probably wouldn't have heard of and when I researched it after she sent it to me I was like "wow!" I didn't even know they existed and didn't know they did what I was looking for. It gave me an idea of a lot of different firms that I probably wouldn't have even looked at.
