DLA Piper to Merge with French Firm

DLA Piper has announced its merger with Paris-based corporate boutique firm Frieh Bouhenic.
The merger will be effective as of 1 October. Frieh Bouhenic itself is a result of a merger between Frieh & Associes and Bouhenic Baudin & Associes. Frieh & Associes was led by former Linklaters
Frieh will be handling the new DLA Piper office along with existing DLA Piper partner Bijan Eghbal. Eghbal is currently the head of the firm's employment, pensions and benefits practice group. The new office will employ over 30 partners and another 40 lawyers.
