Family Law Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with 3-7 years of practice to join their team. The role entails managing various family law cases and providing legal counsel to clients on divorce, child custody, and spousal support.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and paternity disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and court filings.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, hearings, and trials.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law issues.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case management and strategy.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar in good standing.
• 3-7 years of experience practicing family law.
• Thorough knowledge of Florida family law statutes and procedures.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Sensitivity and empathy in dealing with clients' personal and emotional issues.
