Sherman & Howard is pleased to announce the addition of Hilary Morgan to our Denver Litigation practice group, where she will focus on Construction Law.

Morgan draws from her father’s experiences as a general contractor in Florida to help her see matters from her clients’ perspectives and guide them in a wide range of issues. After more than a decade practicing Construction Law, Morgan has gained an appreciation of the intricacies of conflicting priorities on large construction projects.

She represents contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, architects, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and others in all aspects of Construction Law. Morgan handles issues including liens, surety bonds, contracts, delay, scheduling, insurance, construction defects, bid protests, licensing, and other related matters.

Sherman & Howard’s Litigation Group Leader Raj Kukreja said: “Hilary’s experience in Construction Law is going to be an incredible benefit to the firm. She has the ability to step into her clients’ shoes and partner with them to give the best possible legal advice to reach their current and future needs.”

Morgan expressed her admiration for Sherman & Howard’s reputation as a well-oiled and experienced firm with a collaborative culture and strong team of attorneys who are client-driven and value collaboration.

“A law firm is a platform for attorneys to manage cases and clients, and you want the most efficient platform with the strongest team behind it,” said Morgan, “which is where Sherman & Howard stands out from the rest.”

“I’m excited to join the firm and its well-regarded Construction Law practice and be part of a team that strives to shape the future of their clients and communities.”

Hilary received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida – Frederic G. Levin College of Law and completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University, where she was a member of the women’s swim team. She began her law career in Commercial Litigation and Construction at a Florida law firm before finding her way to Colorado in 2021.
