Eventually, however, this candidate desired to return to his home state. He also had come to feel that he wanted to gain traditional experience in a law firm setting in private practice, and so sought out opportunities with firms back home. He joined a regionally-ranked firm that had an opening, and began working as a litigation associate.
When BCG began working with this candidate, he had proven himself as a highly successful associate. He was working on an extremely high profile case and performing a very high volume of work.
