Dykema Welcomes Frederick Fromm to Detroit
Summary: Dykema, a leading national law firm, has added a new member to their Detroit office’s corporate finance practice group.
Frederick A. Fromm Jr., the former VP and General Counsel of GM International Operations has joined Dykema. Acting as a senior counsel, Fromm will be working from the Detroit office in the Corporate Finance practice group.

Fromm was based in Shanghai and Singapore while serving as the Vice President and General Counsel of GM International Operations. Before his latest position with GM, Fromm was the Associate General Counsel of GM, placing him in charge of the Legal Staff’s global process teams of lawyers from each of GM’s four regions across the globe. He was also the Assistant General Counsel for the GM North America region.
Chairman and CEO of Dykema Peter Kellett said, “We are very fortunate and excited to add an attorney of Fred’s caliber and background to our Corporate Finance group. His deep experience in automotive transactions and international matters, especially in China and Asia, will be a great added value for our clients.”
Fromm earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his B.S. in Urban Planning from Michigan State University.
