I worked with my legal placement professional and I enjoyed working with her. She provided useful information to me and really turned me on to a law firm that I ultimately joined. It's a law firm that I would not have considered if it were not for the information she gave me.I would rank BCG very high when compared to other recruiting companies I have worked with.I would say that BCG is a good place for those attorneys who are extremely good. If they have a very powerful resume or if they are extremely talented, I think BCG will work very well for them. For those kind of candidates I would say BCG is probably the best choice.

She never gave up on me. There was definitely a lot of effort put in for me. I liked how every so often I would get new firms chose particular for me and they really tried to address my interests and what I was looking for. It is very time consuming to look for a new job to begin with so it was nice to be able to have someone to do most of the leg work for you. Carleen was with me every step of the way and she answered any questions that I had. She also helped prepare me for interviews that I had. It was a good experience and I appreciate all the work that Carleen did.

I don't know all of the firms that are out there and that have openings and are looking for someone to fill a position. There are other types of ways to look through - LinkedIn and what not - but obviously it is easier when a recruiting agency has access to these firms and to these job opening and they can do the matching process based on what I am looking for and what the firms is looking for.

Carleen was with me every step of the way and she answered any questions that I had. She also helped prepare me for interviews that I had. It was a good experience and I appreciate all the work that Carleen did.

My legal placement professional was very attentive and very much aware of what I wanted, what I didn't want, she was casting a wide net, but she took into account what I was really looking for so I really appreciated that instead of doing the mass resume thing. I like that she was really responsive and one of the things I really appreciated about working with her is that she was very involved, I had issues like when should I send my notice and so on and she basically guided me through the whole thing and is still guiding me so I really appreciated that about working with her. First of all, BCG allowed me to know about opportunities that I wouldn't have known about otherwise, so that presented more opportunities than I would have found on my own. Second of all, my legal placement professional took care of everything in terms of the resume, cover letter and follow up that meant that I didn't have to do anything but approve or disapprove the jobs and that basically took care of the whole thing. The website - being able to approve firms and everything is sent off without having to worry about anything further beyond approving the firms. Generally it was a pretty easy process. The way the website aggregates the firms and gives you the option to approve either the specific position or exclude the firm entirely is helpful. The process is pretty seamless and it takes it out of your hands.

BCG is prompt and responsive and within less than a day of me talking to my legal placement professional, she had already gotten me with the firms to target and started doing research for me. The speed was important because I was on a really short time table. I had let her know that, and she jumped right into action and was super responsive and prompt. She reviewed my materials and gave them some thought and quickly got them out there as soon as I got them back to her. She identified a really good opportunity and jumped on it and ended up working out. Working with her took all of the footwork that I would have had to do in terms of researching what firms to target, applying to those firms, which is the big thing, you know filling out all of the many page long combo box drop down to plug in your education and all of that like you do when you apply directly like through a website. I didn't have to do any of that. I just sent her my materials and she took it from there. I have only talked with 1 other recruiter and she was fine as well, but she didn't seem to know the market as well. I feel like with my legal placement professional, she had a much better handle on the firms in that location and firms that would be good targets for me. My confidence level with my legal placement professional was very important for me.
