I deeply appreciate the time that you spent helping me with my job hunting & revising my resume, coaching me before the interview, providing advice on handling the offer. I was especially impressed with your advice on how to handle the job offer with [law firm] & it was excellent. Throughout the process, you were never overbearing or pushy & you were supportive and patient, and you let me make my own decisions at my own pace. Usually I feel quite alone when I'm interviewing, but not so when you were working with me. (Sorry, I don't mean to gush, but I'm being sincere.) Whenever any of my colleagues are looking for a new position, I always recommend you, telling them that you are the best recruiter I have ever worked with.

My recruiter was quite knowledgeable about the current state of the field for chemistry patent agents. He helped me gauge interest level for applicants with credentials similar to mine, and allowed me to direct my focus on the best potential positions. He was also helpful in my interview preparations.

I think probably the best thing was the quality of the listings and the comprehensiveness. It allowed me to concentrate more on the interviews and the subsequent parts of the process rather than all the applications. [I would describe BCG as] helpful [and] responsive. I would describe it as a good option if [you] want [a] recruiting position, particularly in the law firm stage.

[BCG] made it easy to review potential employers, [and it was an] easy process. I got interviews with employers I wouldn't have otherwise considered or known about. [BCG is] simple and efficient. [BCG ranks] first [compared to other search firms]. [BCG is] simple and effective.

My legal placement professional was great. She listened to what I wanted. She worked really hard and found me what she could and she was really encouraging and gave good advice. And was also really understood that I might not want to go with that particular firm. She was pretty supportive. I was really busy at the time I was looking so she was really helpful in handling if I couldn't email back the firm or stuff she took care of all those things for me and that was really helpful.

[One of my favorite things about working with BCG Attorney Search was] the convenience. I liked the online system for managing submissions and making approvals. I liked that everything was collected for me in one place. [I] like[d] getting that weekly report, that's been very helpful. It has some indication of progress every week. It's very cool I think. Given her knowledge of and connections with the legal community, she was able to place me at law firm that is a perfect match for me given my personality and career goals. I know that I would not have gained this opportunity without her professionalism, dedication and commitment. My recruiter's knowledge of her candidate's background and goals is a key driver for matching them with the right law firm.

I thought your online system and being able to see everything was very helpful. A lot of other people don't have that. You certainly had the most opportunities and had them the quickest. There were things you would send to me that another recruiter would send to me two weeks later. [BCG Attorney Search is] efficient, proactive, and organized. [You are] certainly in the top tier. You would be my go to recommend for anyone. If you need the company that has the most breadth and is going to send you the most options then I would go with you.

I liked that you had updates as to application views, whether you were under consideration and stuff like that. I liked the fact that you were very transparent with who was looking at the applications, what firms [were] considering [you, and] whether they passed on you or not. I think having that made it a lot easier. Also, the fact that you could just click what firms you wanted to be applied to and which ones you didn't [was helpful]. I liked everything [about working with BCG]. You guys did everything [to make my job search easier]. [Working with BCG] made [my job search] seem significantly easier and you guys also had really good ins to a lot of firms. The firm I ended up with, that position was not [listed] online. I don't know how you guys made the connection, but I know you made it. So definitely that was a big part for sure. [I would describe BCG as] responsive, transparent, and helpful. [BCG is] way better [than other recruiting firms]. I had one that actually just randomly dropped me because she realized I was a federal law clerk. You guys were definitely more personal and professional. I would strongly recommend you guys, for sure. And make sure Carleen gets really good reviews because she's fantastic.
