Dimitrios Tournas Joins Wiggin and Dana’s Real Estate, Construction and Facilities Department
Wiggin and Dana is excited to announce that Dimitrios P. Tournas has joined the firm as a partner in the Stamford, Connecticut office.
“We are fortunate to have Dimitri rejoin the firm and bolster the services we provide to domestic and international owners, developers, professionals, utilities, and governmental agencies across the country,” said Andrew J. Pal, the head of the Real Estate, Construction and Facilities Department.
Tournas focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate sales and acquisitions, financing transactions, leasing transactions, and development and construction contract negotiation. Tournas’ experience also spans corporate entity formation and representing developers and lenders in the development and financing of low-income housing and tax credit transactions. He joins from Withers Bergman, where he was an associate. Before that, he was an associate at Wiggin and Dana.
“Rejoining the firm’s Real Estate, Construction and Facilities Department will allow me to create value on behalf of our clients” Dimitri said.
Tournas, who speaks fluent Greek, earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a B.A. in economics and history from the Pennsylvania State University (University Park).
