Wehr Grows Spencer Fane Real Estate Practice in Tampa
Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Emily Wehr has joined the Real Estate Practice Group as an of counsel attorney as part of the Tampa office. Wehr will serve remotely in the South Florida area.
Wehr combines her wide breadth of experience in real estate law and litigation to help clients efficiently close transactions and avoid unnecessary and potentially costly litigation. In between her time in private practice, she served as in-house counsel and provided legal support for numerous companies within a multitier organization. This included leading complex real estate negotiations and drafting letters of intent and industrial, retail, and office lease agreements and other legal documents for various corporations and limited liability companies. She also acted as the liaison with a litigation firm in defense against lawsuits/legal actions, mediations, and arbitrations.

Prior to the in-house counsel roles, Wehr served as a civil litigator with experience in mass tort, catastrophic personal injury, aviation law, real estate, contracts, constitutional matters, class action defense, and construction matters. She also handled negotiations and served as a representative in mediations.
Wehr completed her undergraduate studies in political science at the University of Central Florida and later earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
