The cover letter, that the people I was working with drafted, I thought it was very thoughtful, and I appreciate the level of detail. Another thing I certainly appreciated during my experience working with BCG, is the amount of applications that the recruiter had been sending out on a daily basis. The volume of work that was done to help me secure position, definitely appreciated. It was easier because it took all of the leg work out of the equation for me, and to not have to research listings. To actually go through the process of submitting a formal application can be obviously very time consuming. Also had someone who could help me negotiate compensation packages, be the middleman, and take the awkwardness involved out of the situation in a very seamless, almost effortless experience for me. On a scale of zero to 10, I'd probably put it at 8.5, because prior to working with BCG, I did speak with several other recruiting agencies, and in the beginning, they would be very active and follow up timely, then very quickly the relationship would disintegrate and then I would never hear from them, so I guess compared to that, I would give it at at least an 8.5.

BCG, and Carolina in particular, were essentially everything I would want in a recruiter. Prompt, responsive, checks in regularly, and always ready to hop on the phone for a call to discuss strategy, thought processes, and general concerns. Carolina was sure to make herself available whenever I wanted to talk, or even just vent! Further, her advice was always wise, on point, and well-considered.
Potential employers were way more responsive when I went through BCG vs. when I applied individually. BCG also sent weekly updates on who was interested and who wasn't - providing much more visibility into the process than an applicant would otherwise have.
I want to reiterate my sentiment that Carolina did a phenomenal job. Not only did she find me a great placement in the middle of a massive economic downturn - she also took the time to understand me and my goals, and was tremendously reassuring during a difficult and stressful time. I'm really quite impressed with BCG, and plan on recommending it to anyone I know who's job-seeking in the legal industry.
Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you may have used?
A. The best. Other recruiters we always ready to collect my resume and "talk the talk," but only BCG actively and consistently stuck with me through the process - it's no surprise BCG found me an opportunity before anyone else did.

When I contacted my recruiter in Chicago I said that I wasn't even sure if I wanted to stay in the law. My recruiter was very understanding. There was no coercion, but my recruiter said this is what I have on the table at the moment, these are the firms and this is what they are like. They pointed out that it didn't have to be as it was at my previous firm. My recruiter was very familiar with the Chicago market, and they knew lots of information about the firms that were suggested to me. The pace was pretty fast, all in all, about 3 weeks from discussion to offer. Ultimately, I took an offer and, at the 6 month point, it's exactly as it was described.

My recruiter was very friendly, engaged, informative, and hardworking. Working with BCG made my job search easier because I didn't have to do anything. I didn't have to do any searching on my own.The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are professional, informative, and friendly. I would definitely recommend you guys to others.

My favorite things about working at BCG were Harrison and Carleen. I like them both. Working with BCG made my job easier because they were really good with scheduling and giving good information. The first three things that come to mind when I think of BCG are that they are competent, informative, and pleasant. I would recommend you guys.

Annie was very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions as they came up. If I expressed interest or a lack of interest in something she filtered [the jobs] accordingly so I thought that was great. Annie was really fantastic! She called me before and helped me prep with the different meetings and she sent emails with helpful information as well. I have lots of positive things to say! She was also persistent; my search took a long time so that was helpful. How did working with us make you job search easier? Handling all of if! I loved the responsiveness of my legal placement professional, and the weekly reports were super helpful, just knowing there was work going on. Also, one thing that was great, was just before the interview checking in with her and having her walk me through the interview (because I haven't interviewed in so long), she was kind of nervous about that process and she made herself available to calm nerves and walk me through everything. This was my first switch since graduating law school and so I just wasn't sure how this worked, but she explained the process and she was very open. She wasn't applying to firms that didn't fit what I wanted and I really appreciated that. She went after the jobs I really wanted and got out to those opportunities for me, so that was very helpful. I have never worked with a recruiter, and I thought that everything went really well. I got a job and so this worked out great.
