I ultimately got a job at the end so that was a good outcome. I like the way the process was where I could vet the firms that were possible options. I had a good conversation at the beginning of the process that helped with my expectations and how the process was going to work so I found that really helpful as well. It was great to not have to write a bunch of different cover letters and not have to scan the internet every day for possible opportunities. Especially right now because I am in a clerkship and looking for the next job is time consuming when I could be focusing on my current job.Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?A. I used one at the beginning of my search and it didn't go anywhere and I didn't really heard from them on what was happening so I was in the dark and confused. This was a lot better than that one!

My favorite thing about working with BCG was I like their way of presenting you with various opportunities, with the database and when I worked with other recruiters, they didn't do that. The way that everything was organized was my favorite part, I knew which positions I had been submitted for and would get my updates, it was just very organized which made it easy. What where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Harrison's Team? Responsiveness and general guidance. The interview prep with Patrick was particularly helpful. How did working with us make you job search easier?It took care of the whole entire thing. The individual search gets very cumbersome when scouring between dozens, if not hundreds, of different firms. BCG had already done all that work and had summarized each firm. When the list got in front of me the work was done and it was very easy for me to narrow down from that. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's? #1. You are the only one that got me a job.Is there anything else you would like to add about your experience?Carleen and Patrick were particularly helpful. The interview prep and post interview feedback was invaluable. I wasn't really expecting that and that level of attention to detail was great. Also, the process was extremely quick. From reaching out to Carleen I think it was less than a month or 2 to my start date. There was downtime initially when I was getting back with you on the firms but once we really go the ball rolling it was 2-3 weeks to a start date which was way faster and way more successful than I anticipated.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

They found me a job! They would send me stuff every day and they set me up with the job I took. I was very surprised - I am still very young in my career and I didn't think a recruiter would work with me but they were pretty thorough.

Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

I talked with a few other ones and they would say "Hey, we will keep you in mind and put you up for stuff" and then I would never hear from them again. There was one where they kept putting me up for temp stuff and I told them I wasn't interested in that. I don't know how seriously any other company took my candidacy but it was really night and day.

I thought that the people that I worked with were very supportive. I worked primarily with Carleen Trapp and I really appreciated that she was in constant contact. It was very accommodating to my schedule, which at times could be kind of difficult. She was pretty encouraging yet realistic along the way. It basically made my job search. I really didn't have to do anything else other than just provide some necessary information about myself, including my resume. Basically Carleen handled it from there and she was great. [BCG was] helpful and encouraging. I would say you got the job done. This is a very professional organization. They basically facilitated the entire process so I would recommend them.

I remember that Harrison Barnes called me pretty soon after I reached out to him, or pretty soon after we agreed to work together and talked to me over the phone. That was good. [You have] all the resources and connections that are required to put you into the circle of firms that I would expect to be shopped to. That was definitely a positive thing.
