BCG, and Carolina in particular, were essentially everything I would want in a recruiter. Prompt, responsive, checks in regularly, and always ready to hop on the phone for a call to discuss strategy, thought processes, and general concerns. Carolina was sure to make herself available whenever I wanted to talk, or even just vent! Further, her advice was always wise, on point, and well-considered.
Potential employers were way more responsive when I went through BCG vs. when I applied individually. BCG also sent weekly updates on who was interested and who wasn't - providing much more visibility into the process than an applicant would otherwise have.
I want to reiterate my sentiment that Carolina did a phenomenal job. Not only did she find me a great placement in the middle of a massive economic downturn - she also took the time to understand me and my goals, and was tremendously reassuring during a difficult and stressful time. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you may have used?
A. The best. Other recruiters we always ready to collect my resume and "talk the talk," but only BCG actively and consistently stuck with me through the process - it's no surprise BCG found me an opportunity before anyone else did.

My favorite things about BCG are that they seem to know of every opening and are pretty thorough. My legal placement professional was very friendly and personable and did a great job of figuring out what I was looking for and before working with me, she spent a long time working on my resume with me and I felt like she really put in a lot of time and effort. Working with BCG made my search easier in a lot of ways, I didn't have to go and pound the pavement looking for diferent openings, she really took care of everything for me. She was also very knowledgeable about the market, which was great. It was a great experience.

I can't thank my Chicago recruiter enough for her assistance in my transition. They clearly had information about the firms which was more than that publicly available. It made a difficult process for me considerably less so.

A. BCG was the primary recruiting service I used and I would definitely rank them the highest as well.

My legal placement professional was very thorough and extremely helpful with the lateral associate interview preparation and with the types of questions and framing the answers, etc. My legal placement professional handled finding all of the types of firms that I could apply to, doing the research adjusting from a large city to a smaller city, because she scoured the market for me to find the appropriate firms which saved me the time that I would have had to spend doing it.

Annie was very friendly and helpful and answered all of my questions as they came up. If I expressed interest or a lack of interest in something she filtered [the jobs] accordingly so I thought that was great. Annie was really fantastic! She called me before and helped me prep with the different meetings and she sent emails with helpful information as well. I have lots of positive things to say! She was also persistent; my search took a long time so that was helpful. How did working with us make you job search easier? Handling all of if! Not having to send out a million cover letters and vetting the firms individually was great. She communicated and arranged things and timelines with the firms which was very helpful.

Thank you for all of your help with the job hunt, but we can stop the presses--at least for now. Yesterday I accepted a federal clerkship with a district judge for the next 21 months. Hopefully we can work together as my clerkship comes to an end, and the clerkship makes me a bit more marketable. That would be profitable for both of us!
