BCG, and Carolina in particular, were essentially everything I would want in a recruiter. Prompt, responsive, checks in regularly, and always ready to hop on the phone for a call to discuss strategy, thought processes, and general concerns. Carolina was sure to make herself available whenever I wanted to talk, or even just vent! Further, her advice was always wise, on point, and well-considered.
Potential employers were way more responsive when I went through BCG vs. when I applied individually. BCG also sent weekly updates on who was interested and who wasn't - providing much more visibility into the process than an applicant would otherwise have.
I want to reiterate my sentiment that Carolina did a phenomenal job. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you may have used?
A. The best. Other recruiters we always ready to collect my resume and "talk the talk," but only BCG actively and consistently stuck with me through the process - it's no surprise BCG found me an opportunity before anyone else did.

After each interview, my recruiter in Chicago provided me with solid feedback of my performance, including my strengths and weaknesses, it was invaluable. I got the impression that my recruiter was an old hand at this, as they were very confident in her guidance. My recruiter also knew so many people in the industry and large amounts of detail about each firm.

Honestly, the best part [about working with BCG] was getting a job in the end, especially when I had mostly stopped looking for myself. Carolina was willing to listen to what I was looking for and tried to match that with somewhere where I'd be happy. I'd said I wanted to do writing, and she shopped me around as a writer. I've only been at this new job for a few weeks, but it seems to be a much better fit than some of the places I was applying (and not getting). Even though it took a while, I still feel like you did a good job. A lot of that was the coronavirus, I'm sure, but taking the time to find a firm that was specifically looking for someone who was looking to write, not necessarily looking to get in a courtroom all of the time, was a big plus.
Q. How did working with us make you job search easier?
A. Well, for one, I didn't have to do the searching. But firms seem to reach out to you guys. Sometimes a middleman is a bad thing, but sometimes the middleman is a good facilitator, and that's what I felt happened here. I was also able to let someone else do the searching while I watched my son during the day.

Q. Where would we rank/compare to other recruiting companies you may have used?

A. Since you got me the job, I'd put you on top. Even without that, you didn't pigeonhole me into "temp" work just because your firm was divided into temp and permanent placement (and make it hard to get into the other group), so I'd still put you on top. My sample size isn't large, though.

My legal placement professional was very responsive and it seemed like she was very frank and up front about the market and what was available and what wasn't, what was realistic and what was not and I really appreciated getting the summaries each week. My legal placement professional did everything except the interview, so she did the whole job search for me. BCG got me a job, so I'd say you're #1.

I think more than anything else, I really appreciated that it was effective. A couple of the factors that I appreciated were the transparent communication was great, being kept up on the status of things. Initial expectation management, a layout of what I could expect in terms of how long it would take for the firms to be responsive and what I might expect when they did respond. Having only done a job search with you guys, I don't know how it would have gone if I hadn't used you guys, but I can affirmatively say that having worked with BCG that it was effective and I didn't have to put active energy into it beyond clicking yes or no to submit to firms, based on the updated links that I was given, so from that aspect it was fairly time effective. A couple of other recruiters reached out to me while I was working with Becca, but also it was a matter of the fact that Becca had a fairly large portfolio of possible client's that she could recommend me to that she had worked with before which was more attractive than the others who would only provide on occasion, smaller firms. Having worked with you guys, I would recommend you to others.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with my recruiter during my job search. Not only was I looking to make a move to a new firm, but I was looking to move to a different city as well. From New York, she was able to find many quality opportunities for me in various cities along the East Coast, until I was finally able to narrow it down to one city. My recruiter spent countless hours on the phone with me discussing my career, why I wanted to leave my firm, what I was looking to get out of my new job, and what type of positions would be appropriate for my career level. She also presented a few opportunities that were slightly out of the box that I might not have considered had it not been for her.

My recruiter put an immense amount of effort into helping me obtain a position that I would be happy with, including helping me revise my resume, calling me to discuss the details of various openings, and calling me before and after each and every interview to help me prepare and to debrief with me afterwards. I am not sure that many other recruiters would go to such lengths.

Something that is very important to me is that she was never pushy if I did not want to apply to a certain position, we always discussed why so that she could fully understand where I was coming from, and she always respected my wishes about where to apply. Additionally, I never felt like I was running after her for updates or information she was always in close contact with me throughout the process.

Only a week or two after my recruiter submitted my resume to various open positions, I had multiple interviews and callback interviews, and within 3 weeks I had a job offer, and 2 weeks later another. She also helped me navigate the slightly awkward task of communicating with the firm where I had the standing offer while I was still interviewing for other positions. I was extremely surprised at how smooth and easy the process had been, and I am sure it was due to her efforts. She also made herself available to me anytime I needed her throughout the process nights, weekends, etc., in order to be sure that I felt comfortable with my job search.

I believe that my recruiter truly cares about the individual she is working with and goes to great lengths to ensure that the individual finds a position that he or she will be happy with. I have already recommended her to several of my friends and will continue to do so in the future. In fact, I am still in contact with my recruiter months after my job search ended, and plan to continue to do so!

Not only was she great, but I was extremely pleased with BCG as a whole as well. My recruiter is an extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy source in her field, but if by chance she was unsure about something, she would reach out to her fellow recruiters at BCG and would always have an answer for me very quickly. My first impression of BCG was very good, because Harrison and I had about a two hour phone call. I'm very surprised that he spent that much time talking with me. He was interested in my background in graduate school, and I really think that it was more like a personal conversation, rather than a conversation geared toward an object of me trying to find a job, which was cool. Another good thing about it was that I got the sense that he was really trying to drill down and get information to make sure that you guys could do a good job for me. That was probably the best part of the experience, was that first thing that happened right of the bat, and that first call with Harrison.

When I think of BCG I think of the word professional, and I get the sense that you guys don't regard me as a commodity, a fundable unit that you just need to get rid of with somebody so that you can get your cash flow going.
