Sarah, in particular, was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was also very very positive. She helped pump me up before interviews and decipher if I liked the law firm after interviews. Those were the key things. [BCG] is unique in the sense that other recruiters I have worked with don't presumptively apply to law firms. You guys applied to 80 or 90 law firms on my behalf, even if there weren't postings which ended up being what got me a job in the end. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's? A. Definitely top, out of 5- top 2! Sarah was really really great and probably the best recruiter I have ever worked with.

When I contacted my recruiter in Chicago I said that I wasn't even sure if I wanted to stay in the law. My recruiter was very understanding. There was no coercion, but my recruiter said this is what I have on the table at the moment, these are the firms and this is what they are like. They pointed out that it didn't have to be as it was at my previous firm. My recruiter was very familiar with the Chicago market, and they knew lots of information about the firms that were suggested to me. The pace was pretty fast, all in all, about 3 weeks from discussion to offer. Ultimately, I took an offer and, at the 6 month point, it's exactly as it was described.

She was very transparent with me which was helpful. No BS. BCG has its finger on the pulse of the job market. There were a lot of jobs we applied for that I didn't find on any other job forums. It was a great experience. I would definitely return and use BCG and Carolina in the future.

Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

A. BCG was the primary recruiting service I used and I would definitely rank them the highest as well.

BCG, and Carolina in particular, were essentially everything I would want in a recruiter. Prompt, responsive, checks in regularly, and always ready to hop on the phone for a call to discuss strategy, thought processes, and general concerns. Carolina was sure to make herself available whenever I wanted to talk, or even just vent! Further, her advice was always wise, on point, and well-considered.
Potential employers were way more responsive when I went through BCG vs. when I applied individually. BCG also sent weekly updates on who was interested and who wasn't - providing much more visibility into the process than an applicant would otherwise have.
[BCG] was the best. Other recruiters we always ready to collect my resume and "talk the talk," but only BCG actively and consistently stuck with me through the process - it's no surprise BCG found me an opportunity before anyone else did. Carolina did a phenomenal job. Not only did she find me a great placement in the middle of a massive economic downturn - she also took the time to understand me and my goals, and was tremendously reassuring during a difficult and stressful time. I'm really quite impressed with BCG, and plan on recommending it to anyone I know who's job-seeking in the legal industry.

With my Chicago recruiter's help, I received an offer within six weeks. Throughout the process, I was impressed by not only my recruiter's professionalism and investment of time in my search, but also by their genuine care and concern for me as an individual. I would highly recommend my recruiter to anyone in the market.

Thanks for the nice letter and what you have done to date. I have to say I have spoken to numerous recruiters over time and you are the only who has really taken the time to understand what makes me unique, provide substantive suggestions to me and act proactively on my behalf. I cannot overstate how pleased I am with the work that my recruiter provided and the results she helped me obtain. Unlike previous experience I've had with other recruiters, she was able to focus my job search to only those firms where there was a good fit between what they were looking for and what I was looking for. She also provided invaluable advice as to how to position myself and my background for maximum effectiveness, whether by resume or in the interview itself. I really liked my consultant, she helped me prepare for interviews, I had a lot of questions that she responded to. She also helped with my interview preparation, and how to negotiate getting the job offer.BCG helped make my job search easier because my consultant taught me how to make a lateral move and gave me interview prep. The particular job I was looking at, I had seen a post on the BCG website, then I contacted BCG. They then put me in contact with the person I worked with. She was really helpful in terms of helping me figure [out] how to do the logistics of a lateral move and how to prepare for the interview. She also helped me work on my resume. Those kind of things were very useful.The first words that come to mind when I think of BCG are helpful and responsive. My recruiter did a very good job.
