Basically, I didn't have to do anything until I got the job offer. I never had to check in, she would check in with me and she always worked around my schedule if I was really busy. It made it possible for me to look for and get a new job while working full time and being busy with my other job. My legal placement professional did a really good job at editing my materials that I sent in and giving me ideas on them, which usually others just edited grammar and such on them.Q.Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?A.You check in more often, which is really nice. She also checked in with the firm's more often, she kept checking in with the hiring partners to give me updates and I hadn't seen that before. The BCG app is pretty convenient. I didn't use it a ton because I wasn't involved in the process for too long. You can go on and approve the jobs and the listings and the way it is set up is really nice. My legal placement professional was really great! Especially early on, she didn't contact me too much but reached out when there were good opportunities. The job I ended up taking wasn't one that was posted. It was an opportunistic job so I thought it was great that she went ahead and contacted places she had connections with anyway. She worked at a quick speed and I was under a time crunch with another opportunity and she really moved things along for me very quickly.It was helpful to have my legal placement professional there to ask questions about the firm. She had a lot of insider information that I probably wouldn't have gotten a lot of with my own research. In a traditional setting I would have tried to connect with someone at the firm or someone who used to work there but because of the time pressure everything happened within a week and she was able to give me a lot of details about individuals and the firm that was beneficial to me when I was interviewing. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?A. My legal placement professional is the only recruiter that I have worked with that passed my information along without there being a job posting which I liked because, obviously, it ended up working out for me. It is a more aggressive, not in a negative sense, approach and especially given the circumstances in the economy and with the pandemic you need somebody like that right now. You need someone that will advocate strongly for you!Overall it was a very positive experience and I have recommended it to other people since. On the whole, I was very pleasantly surprised with the process and very happy with it. Nothing negative to report at all!

My legal placement professional did a good job preparing me for the interview for the position I just accepted and she took a lot of time with me. She was very hard working and dedicated and I felt like she actually cared, which was really cool. I appreciated her honesty. I felt like she was honest about how I could do the best at showcasing my skills and presenting myself in an interview. A lot of times when you work with others it's just a series of emails back and forth but, at least with the recruiter I worked with at BCG, we had a number of telephone calls as well. I think that was probably the best part, because things can get lost in emails that are not in telephone conversations. Working with BCG helped me because I knew there was someone who was already working to find the list of places that have openings that I might be suited for. So instead of me going through and searching through a lot of different databases online and trying to match myself up, I have someone who is doing that; and a business who gets the information through which it can be filtered.When I think of BCG I think of empathy, and a recruiting firm that is working for you.
