I would say Becca's responsiveness and thoroughness with explanations providing as much contact as possible [was my favorite part of working with BCG]. I just left it in her hands. The only thing that I needed to do was to do great interviews. Other than that she managed all of it. [BCG is] very knowledgeable, [has] expertise, [and] you've got great staff in terms of their expertise as well as experience in the field. Also, I would just add that [I liked] the responsiveness and I liked the reporting thing that you do on a weekly basis. [BCG has] all the tools in place to make sure that the candidate has an up to date picture of what their candidacy looks like. [You are] by far the best and I have worked with lots. I would definitely recommend you guys. I would describe the company as thorough [and] knowledgeable. You know the field [and] have lots of information and resources that are available to candidates.

[Working with BCG] was very easy. I worked with my legal placement professional because I had responded to some listings online and she got right in touch with me. She did a lot of the work and just kept me in the loop. It was very helpful. I felt confident that she was looking at listings that I probably didn't have access to...when I accepted an offer it did make me confident that I was accepting a good offer. I felt confident that I wasn't leaving anything on the table that I would have found otherwise. That gave me some confidence too. I would say [BCG is] helpful. I guess the second word I would think of is quick because it really wasn't long after I got in touch with my legal placement professional that I ended up with an interview and then an offer. So that was great. As far as a third one, I guess efficient. I never actually met my legal placement professional in person, we talked on the phone [and] we emailed. But I really didn't have to put a whole lot of time into the relationship. I had a positive experience working with you all, I ended up with a result that I'm very pleased with and I didn't really have to do a lot to maintain that relationship. My legal placement professional really drove that process. Bottom line: I would say to somebody there really is nothing to lose contacting you all. If I was going to do any one thing differently, to me I would have been a little better off if I had known to stay in touch with my legal placement professional a little bit more. Once I was contacted to do a phone interview...after the phone interview I came down to San Diego for an in person interview. It was really only after I had received an offer that I then got back in touch with my legal placement professional. I think I might have been a little better off if I had stayed in touch with her more. Like [telling her] I have a phone interview coming up [and] we should confer...I think I would have been a little better off if I had more information going into those. I just didn't understand that it would have been important to keep in touch. Just because it was going so efficiently and it was run well, kind of remotely, so I thought it was just kind of on autopilot. That is the one [piece of] advice I would give to other people in my position.

A recruiter in the Chicago office found me my job. She was very helpful, she was very responsive and she got results. I had a resume that was a little non-traditional since I had moved a few times. I don't know what she did, but she got results. She also set up interview coaching sessions with me. She did a lot of the leg work. I never had to follow up with her to see the status or anything, as she kept me regularly up to date. It was about three weeks between the time I was working with her and the time I got a job. It wasn't a long drawn out process. I found my recruiter to be very professional, effective, and legitimate. Maybe a better word is actually knowledgeable. Job searching is always stressful no matter what, and adding a global pandemic on top of that is extremely stressful. Having someone to guide and coach me through that process took a huge weight off my shoulders. Sarah was always available, extremely kind, and very personable and easy to talk to. She never gave up on me. There was definitely a lot of effort put in for me. I liked how every so often I would get new firms chose particular for me and they really tried to address my interests and what I was looking for. It is very time consuming to look for a new job to begin with so it was nice to be able to have someone to do most of the leg work for you. I don't know all of the firms that are out there and that have openings and are looking for someone to fill a position. There are other types of ways to look through - LinkedIn and what not - but obviously it is easier when a recruiting agency has access to these firms and to these job opening and they can do the matching process based on what I am looking for and what the firms is looking for.

Carleen was with me every step of the way and she answered any questions that I had. She also helped prepare me for interviews that I had. It was a good experience and I appreciate all the work that Carleen did.

Working with BCG gave me access to opportunities that weren't necessarily posted in the market place. The job I ended up accepting, the firm wasn't advertising an open role but my legal placement professional sent my resume to them anyway and they were interested and interviewed me. If I hadn't been working with BCG I would not have had the opportunity that I ended up taking.Something I found helpful was the website where I could login to my account and look at the firms that had open positions and I could pick which ones I was interested in and keep track through the website of where I had applied and where I was in the process. Having that organization was really helpful. Also, before interviews I had phone calls with my legal placement professional where she went through some tips on topics to cover, topics to avoid, how to answer questions. I found that information very useful and used that information she gave me to create an outline that I then used to prepare for every interview. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting firms that you may have used?A. The highest! I had the most success through you guys but also it seemed to be the most comprehensive. I reached out to several other recruiting firms early in the process and BCG immediately responded and some other firms responded slowly or not at all. BCG immediately set me up with an account and it came together very quickly and very naturally.

I really liked the weekly report that was sent. I really liked that my legal placement professional text messaged me and she was really good at checking in and following up on the interviews.
