I really liked my legal placement professional. She was very positive, friendly, and clearly worked hard to find the right type of firm for me. She was also quick to follow up. My legal placement professional was able to find firms that I did not know were hiring, and coordinated the interview process with Aleshire & Wynder. She was also helpful in preparing me for interviews and providing positive feedback. I have only ever worked with one other recruiting company, but I think BCG is more thorough and helpful.

What where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Harrisons' Team?

The fact that it was mostly automated. I would be asked to approve firms and approve jobs that my credentials would be sent to. This was mostly done electronically which I found very convenient.

How did working with us make you job search easier?

BCG did all the leg work. BCG found the job openings and reported them to me so all I had to do was approve the opening. It saved me time from having to go through individual law firm websites.

Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

BCG was the best. I did work with a couple other recruiter's and from my personal observation they had less access to job openings. I heard much more from BCG than I did from the other recruiters. The other recruiters tended to not be automated and I would get a phone call to discuss it in real time which often wasn't convenient and we ended up playing phone tag a lot. BCG was the best because of the volume of openings that BCG was able to get access to and because of the convenient nature of the interaction.

A lot of marketing emails made it confusing to determine which I needed to reply to and which were just informational. Otherwise, it was easy to work internationally with the team and I appreciate the deviation from normal practices to make my location issues work.

Ask more questions to the hiring firm before purposing it to the candidate. She understands that sometimes the firm doesn't always share that info but if we could try to push and get a bit more.

I liked the communication, back and forth, how you just add a response. There are a good number of firms listed back and forth, like I would wait a week and then there would be other options, it ended up working out. The recruiter seemed to say good things about me and that really helped in the interviews as well, I believe. I still did some of my own searching online, but a lot of times, there were firms that were confidential and you don't know who they are and can't really get a foot in the door. Where you guys were reaching out on my behalf, it helped me get that foot in the door. I would say you are the best of the 2 recruiting firms I have worked with previously.

I would say that my legal placement professional was extremely attentive, sometimes I would message or email her on the weekend not expecting her to reply until Monday, but I did it when I had it in my head and she would reply right away which I was always surprised at and told her she didn't have to do. She was extremely attentive and responsive. She was also very understanding and I didn't feel pressured by her. I felt like she was really a pleasure to work with, so friendly and made me feel really comfortable. I think that the facilitation of having another point of contact, someone who has either an established relationship with a firm or just some other point of contact with them helped get answers faster, responses faster, whether they were positive or negative, at least you could move on and focus on other areas so I feel like it facilitated the overall speed of the process and there was definitely opportunities that she found that I don't think I would have found on my own. I would say that she is absolutely outstanding and I really enjoyed working and communicating with her and thought she was extremely professional and understanding and overall a really great resource.

My recruiter was very responsive in communicating with me during the job hunt. Communication was huge. Someone else doing the work for you is great.
