When I contacted my recruiter in Chicago I said that I wasn't even sure if I wanted to stay in the law. My recruiter was very understanding. There was no coercion, but my recruiter said this is what I have on the table at the moment, these are the firms and this is what they are like. They pointed out that it didn't have to be as it was at my previous firm. My recruiter was very familiar with the Chicago market, and they knew lots of information about the firms that were suggested to me. The pace was pretty fast, all in all, about 3 weeks from discussion to offer. Ultimately, I took an offer and, at the 6 month point, it's exactly as it was described.

Thank you for all of your help with the job hunt, but we can stop the presses--at least for now. Yesterday I accepted a federal clerkship with a district judge for the next 21 months. Hopefully we can work together as my clerkship comes to an end, and the clerkship makes me a bit more marketable. That would be profitable for both of us! Thank you again for your substantial help, and I look forward to working with you again.

Some of my favorite things about working with BCG were the national breadth of professionalism, and the quality of the employers. Working with BCG took a lot of the stress off of me of having to go out and find jobs, especially since I knew that law firms don't publish all of the time and they just go to researchers. BCG has an efficient process for its candidates.You have higher quality positions in larger firms more than other recruiting firms.

I had the opportunity to work with my recruiter in connection with a recent search for a corporate law associate position. She was a pleasure to work with for the duration of my job search. In the beginning of the job search, my recruiter assisted me in framing my goals and identifying which type of law firms would be a good match for my career objectives and qualifications. I highly recommend my recruiter to any attorney interested in making a lateral move.

After each interview, my recruiter in Chicago provided me with solid feedback of my performance, including my strengths and weaknesses, it was invaluable. I got the impression that my recruiter was an old hand at this, as they were very confident in her guidance. My recruiter also knew so many people in the industry and large amounts of detail about each firm.

It was great chatting with my recruiter in Washington DC. I've had the opportunity to chat with a few recruiters over the years but have never been as impressed as I was with my recruiter's enthusiasm and ability to pin-point the specific steps that I have taken over the course of my law school and professional life to advance my career in bankruptcy law.
