I had the absolute pleasure of working with my recruiter during my job search. Not only was I looking to make a move to a new firm, but I was looking to move to a different city as well. From New York, she was able to find many quality opportunities for me in various cities along the East Coast, until I was finally able to narrow it down to one city. My recruiter spent countless hours on the phone with me discussing my career, why I wanted to leave my firm, what I was looking to get out of my new job, and what type of positions would be appropriate for my career level. She also presented a few opportunities that were slightly out of the box that I might not have considered had it not been for her.

My recruiter put an immense amount of effort into helping me obtain a position that I would be happy with, including helping me revise my resume, calling me to discuss the details of various openings, and calling me before and after each and every interview to help me prepare and to debrief with me afterwards. I am not sure that many other recruiters would go to such lengths.

Something that is very important to me is that she was never pushy if I did not want to apply to a certain position, we always discussed why so that she could fully understand where I was coming from, and she always respected my wishes about where to apply. Additionally, I never felt like I was running after her for updates or information she was always in close contact with me throughout the process.

Only a week or two after my recruiter submitted my resume to various open positions, I had multiple interviews and callback interviews, and within 3 weeks I had a job offer, and 2 weeks later another. She also helped me navigate the slightly awkward task of communicating with the firm where I had the standing offer while I was still interviewing for other positions. I was extremely surprised at how smooth and easy the process had been, and I am sure it was due to her efforts. She also made herself available to me anytime I needed her throughout the process nights, weekends, etc., in order to be sure that I felt comfortable with my job search.

I believe that my recruiter truly cares about the individual she is working with and goes to great lengths to ensure that the individual finds a position that he or she will be happy with. I have already recommended her to several of my friends and will continue to do so in the future. In fact, I am still in contact with my recruiter months after my job search ended, and plan to continue to do so!

Not only was she great, but I was extremely pleased with BCG as a whole as well. My recruiter is an extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy source in her field, but if by chance she was unsure about something, she would reach out to her fellow recruiters at BCG and would always have an answer for me very quickly. My legal placement professional was terrific! She was very on top of the industry and had a lot of great experience. She seemed to really be in touch and knew all of the jobs that were out there looking. She communicated with the firm and me and it was a nice collaboration and to be able to rely on her to communicate with the firms directly. Having BCG and my legal placement professional gave me a go-to resource for all my questions. I was looking for a very specific job in a specific geographic location and your database seemed to be able to readily identify what was available in the market. It was straight forward from there and then my legal placement professional would reach out to gauge if there was an interest. It made my job search and approach very efficient. I worked with one other smaller recruiting firm but it seemed like your resources and the articles and the network was helpful. During these crazy pandemic times, it was great to rely on BCG's network so if we hadn't heard from a particular firm she could reach out to her colleagues and figure out where the firm was at - if there was a hiring freeze, are they still recruiting, etc. That was very helpful and insightful!

I really liked my consultant, she helped me prepare for interviews, I had a lot of questions that she responded to. She also helped with my interview preparation, and how to negotiate getting the job offer.BCG helped make my job search easier because my consultant taught me how to make a lateral move and gave me interview prep. The particular job I was looking at, I had seen a post on the BCG website, then I contacted BCG. They then put me in contact with the person I worked with. She was really helpful in terms of helping me figure [out] how to do the logistics of a lateral move and how to prepare for the interview. She also helped me work on my resume. Those kind of things were very useful.The first words that come to mind when I think of BCG are helpful and responsive. My recruiter did a very good job.

I guess the emails I got with the job opportunities. Found options I wouldn't have found myself.
Average, I am trying to think. The experience wasn't much, as I didn't speak to anyone. They consistently sent job opportunities for me to review.

My recruiter was very professional. She responded and took a lot of questions both during office hours and outside of office hours, which is very helpful. The process was a very efficient process. I like how I was provided firms, which my recruiter believed were a good fit for me. I was able to review them and provide responses. If it took me a couple of extra days to review something or get back to my recruiter, she would always reach back out and make sure I was staying on top of the ball, which is very helpful.It helped find jobs and listings that I otherwise would not have found online. And it also helped introduce me to law firms that I otherwise would not have known about or would not have known to research. I've only briefly worked with one other recruiter individually. I would say it ranked very high up there, definitely higher than my other experience. Like I said, the efficiency and the ability to really motivate and push me was helpful. The one other recruiter I worked with would show you all these different jobs and say, these are all great; you are great. That's just not realistic. I think BCG did a good job at maintaining expectations and helping point you in a direction and making it clear, this might be a firm that would be more of a reach, or this is definitely one that we should be looking at, I really appreciated those insights.

Recently, I had the privilege of working with my recruiter in your Chicago office and wanted to express how much I enjoyed working with them and BCG during my job search. Most candidates who have used other recruiters before BCG probably share the same story-a recruiter spends a short amount of time with a candidate and then wants to peddle a resume to a number of potential employers or sell you on an open position in another firm. Unlike recruiters at other organizations, my recruiter spent a considerable amount of time with me at the beginning of the process learning about my background, skill set, and motivations to find firms that would be a good fit. My recruiter was friendly and straightforward. They identified my strengths and weaknesses as a candidate and offered useful suggestions on preparing for interviews. My recruiter also prepared detailed summaries about me for firms that interviewers remarked were very helpful to them.

Working with BCG Attorney Search made my job search easier because there were a lot of openings in one place.
