She was very knowledgeable about the market and had a large scope of information on both mid-sized and AmLaw firms. My favorite thing about BCG was the availability of my recruiter. She was available at any time that I would text her, or call her sometimes she was driving but she always made herself available. I appreciated the general care to my interests and actually caring about my career goals. Sarah didn't seem like she had any kind of plant or lean but she was just completely about my own career goals and what would be best for me, even when I was considering non-BCG presented options, she was still available and happy to talk to me about those and I really appreciated that. I think that she's made my job search easier because she did a lot of the leg work with like helping schedule the interviews and talking to people in HR and so I didn't feel like I had to be the one communicating all the time. She assisted with all of that and it sure made it easier for me.

[My favorite thing about working with BCG & my legal placement professional were] the list of opportunities that I was provided with your connections and know how in the industry. There were extra opportunities that I was missing in my personal search. Opportunities were delivered to me weekly. I also had someone who could direct me and review my essays, cover letter, resume and things like that she was particularly helpful with. These were particularly strange times to be looking for a position with COVID and she helped navigate the search very well and it all worked out.

She was very transparent with me which was helpful. No BS. BCG has its finger on the pulse of the job market. There were a lot of jobs we applied for that I didn't find on any other job forums. It was a great experience. I would definitely return and use BCG and Carolina in the future.

Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

A. BCG was the primary recruiting service I used and I would definitely rank them the highest as well.

One of my favorite things about working with BCG was the fact that they were willing to send applications out to firms that didn't have posted openings.

BCG is definitely a good option if other recruiters do not seem sufficiently aggressive or interested in your career.

Hi Harrison - I've read your blog posts for a number of years and have never found anyone else's writing so truthful about working at a US law firm - I love reading your posts.

My recruiter was very professional. She responded and took a lot of questions both during office hours and outside of office hours, which is very helpful. The process was a very efficient process. I like how I was provided firms, which my recruiter believed were a good fit for me. I was able to review them and provide responses. If it took me a couple of extra days to review something or get back to my recruiter, she would always reach back out and make sure I was staying on top of the ball, which is very helpful.It helped find jobs and listings that I otherwise would not have found online. And it also helped introduce me to law firms that I otherwise would not have known about or would not have known to research. I've only briefly worked with one other recruiter individually. I would say it ranked very high up there, definitely higher than my other experience. Like I said, the efficiency and the ability to really motivate and push me was helpful. The one other recruiter I worked with would show you all these different jobs and say, these are all great; you are great. That's just not realistic. I think BCG did a good job at maintaining expectations and helping point you in a direction and making it clear, this might be a firm that would be more of a reach, or this is definitely one that we should be looking at, I really appreciated those insights.
