There is no way that a simple "thank you" can express my gratitude for your efforts. I am not certain I can string enough superlatives together to adequately capture the quality of your work and the strength of your character. You took more time meeting with me, expended more effort placing me, and worked harder to make sure I was happy than I ever could have expected. You went farther than "the extra mile." You earned my trust at our first meeting, and you earned my undying gratitude with your work from that date through my placement. You did not push me into anything; instead, you listened. You asked questions. You made sure I was happy with the "right fit" rather than just "any fit." I felt, at all times, as though I was your only client, though I know you are very busy. I have referred friends to you, and I will continue to do so. And I expect we will be in touch for years not because I expect to be in the market for a new job, but because you have become a good friend throughout this process.

I chose the person; it was my recruiter at BCG in particular because of the attention I knew that she was going to give. She gave daily hand holding attention, which is critical. That just made a big difference. And I chose her over someone, who I was told is the biggest name in the field. [I did this] because I knew I wanted someone who was going to be a cheerleader [as] opposed to somebody who just had some big name. [BCG] walked [me] through each step of the process. I was coming from a different career [and] different market and didn't really know how I should present myself or anything. I knew I had strengths but I didn't know how to package them for this kind of thing. I knew how to package them for a client, but not for a new place [of] employment. [I would describe BCG as] scrappy, hungry, [and] supportive. I would rank you highly. You need someone who is really going to walk each step of the way with you. You already have your own cache so you don't need some place to give you cache. You need someone who is going to explain the process [and] go through the ups and downs with you. That's what you [have] going.

I want to express my gratitude to you for your time and efforts in pulling out very helpful information for me. I truly appreciate it! I also realize that perhaps, there is nothing in it for you and yet you did it, which makes me feel hugely indebted!

My recruiters at BCG were very thorough. BCG had more direct knowledge within the markets that I was looking than I did. So they were able to source opportunities probably more effectively than I would have independently. The words effective, friendly, and helpful come to mind when I think of BCG. I would also describe BCG as useful.
