Job Overview: The law firm is seeking a skilled Executive Compensation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join our team in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, particularly in corporate transactions, financial restructurings, and securities aspects of executive compensation, including public company disclosure.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of executive compensation arrangements.
  • Conduct due diligence and analysis of executive compensation plans in corporate transactions and financial restructurings.
  • Draft and review agreements, disclosures, and other legal documents related to executive compensation.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting executive compensation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 2-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Strong understanding of corporate transactions and financial restructurings.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
