Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Executive Compensation, Employment, And Benefits Associate Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in company representation, compensation disclosure issues, and a broad array of transactional executive compensation and benefits matters, including the associated tax, securities, and other relevant legal aspects.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate executive compensation agreements, employment contracts, and benefit plans.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on tax, securities, and other relevant laws impacting executive compensation and benefits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and programs.
  • Advise clients on compliance with regulatory requirements related to executive compensation and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits at a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Strong understanding of tax, securities, and other relevant laws impacting executive compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.

Skills:

  • Expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Proficiency in tax, securities, and other relevant laws.
