A law firm in Washington D.C. seeks a Mid-level Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate Attorney with 3-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in employee benefits and executive compensation matters, particularly related to private and public company M&A transactions and associated tax issues. This position requires collaboration with the public company securities practice, providing support for all aspects of SEC disclosures related to executive compensation. Duties:

  • Address tax issues associated with executive compensation.
  • Support all aspects of SEC disclosures related to executive compensation within the public company securities practice.
  • Provide expertise in general compensation and benefit plan matters.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of employee benefits and executive compensation experience.
  • J.D. degree.
  • Admitted to practice in Washington D.C.
  • Direct and applicable experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm.

Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of employee benefits and executive compensation law.
  • Strong knowledge of tax issues associated with executive compensation.
  • Experience with SEC disclosures related to executive compensation.
  • Legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
