Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking an Executive Compensation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Assist in structuring executive compensation arrangements in connection with corporate transactions and financial restructurings.
  • Draft and review executive compensation agreements, equity incentive plans, and related documentation.
  • Analyze and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC disclosures.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and departments to address client needs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via waiver.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in executive compensation and employee benefits law.
  • Demonstrated experience working on corporate transactions and financial restructurings.
  • Strong understanding of securities laws related to executive compensation, particularly SEC disclosure requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via waiver.
