Dallas office of our client seeks a litigation attorney. The candidate will be responsible for duties and responsibilities as delegated by the managing attorney. Provide knowledge and experience to the high volume multi-jurisdictional foreclosure and other creditor's rights and/or real property matters. Ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to expedite the firm's files in accordance with all applicable law and contractual provisions of client agreements to achieve the reputational and financial goals of the firm. Handle the firm's litigation files in the appropriate forum. Outline or oversee appropriate actions to be taken, including the creation of legal strategy, and budget for assigned cases. Ensure action plans for assigned cases are implemented and completed. Draft, review, and sign various pleadings and other court filings, and render legal advice and assistance to all firm legal support staff as needed. Become proficient at working within the firm's case management system. Act as a liaison between the firm and its clients, vendors, opposing counsel, courts, and trustees. Manage all files in accordance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, Bar rules, and firm-established and client-established timelines, policies, rules, goals, and objectives. Attend hearings either in-person or virtually. Outline, prepare and present pleadings and other court and legal documents, as well as argue the merits of assigned cases at hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials as appropriate. Oversee actions of the paralegals assigned to assist the attorney or those under supervision.

The candidate must have the ability to coordinate and lead a team of diverse staff and attorneys within a department or an office location to achieve firm goals and objectives. Excellent organization, communication, time-management, and listening skills are required. The ability to handle difficult/delicate issues with diplomacy and tact is needed. Should have professional and ethical conduct with a positive attitude and superior work ethic.
