Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has strengthened their transactional practices and capabilities by adding a three member real estate team to their New York office. Kevin O’Shea, Erwin Dweck and Yaakov Sheinfield will join the firm as partners. They bring a highly regarded reputation and experience in complex real estate debt and equity transactions with them.

The team has advised financial institutions, private equity funds, pension funds, investment banks, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, and REITs. They have worked on commercial real estate finance matters, preferred equity, sales, mezzanine and A/B finance, complex equity and joint venture investments, real estate fund investment, NPL acquisitions and sales, and more.

O’Shea earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Virginia. He has been ranked by Chambers and Legal 500 as a leading individual for Real Estate New York.

Dweck received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A. from Columbia University. Chambers and Legal 500 have ranked him as a leading practitioner.

Sheinfield received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.S. from Yeshiva University in Finance. He has also been recognized as a leading practitioner by Chambers.
