After each interview, my recruiter provided me with solid feedback of my performance, including my strengths and weaknesses, it was invaluable. I got the impression that she was an old hand at this, she was very confident in her guidance. She also knew so many people in the industry and large amounts of detail about each firm.

She was really responsive. Anytime she emailed me with a list of firms and I responded back saying what I was interested in, she would respond right away and let me know she was going to submit me. She was super super responsive and consistently would send me emails about multiple opportunities. I feel like other recruiters I worked with in the past will contact you about an initial opportunity and then once you speak with them you never hear from them again or maybe hear from them in 3 mos but she was always consistently sending me opportunities, weekly, which is nice. When she reached out she sent me multiple opportunities. Other recruiters in the past have contacted me with one opportunity in mind, which is fine, but I think it's nice for attorneys who are looking for new jobs and new opportunities to get multiple possible options, so that was great. With the negotiation with my other employer, when I talked to her about things that were important to me in my next job I feel like she really listened to what I wanted. Sometimes other recruiters you get the sense that they just want to place you somewhere so they can get their commission but with her I really felt like she really listened to the things that mattered to me. Specifically, finding a job that was in commercial litigation but was also practicing in intellectual property, which is where I am really passionate about. She made sure once I got the job offer to go back to the partners and express to them in a professional way that that was what I was really interested in. Also, trying to negotiate a higher salary for me which is really nice. I feel like she really advocated for me, whereas other recruiters sometimes want to dial down or ask for less. When we had after I told her I got the job opportunity she didn't try to pressure me into saying "yes". She was excited for me but I also told her what I was concerned about and what was important to me and I feel like she really advocated for me. In terms of BCG, it was a great experience! I had the best experience working with her, she was great! It made it easier because the opportunities Carleen would email and other people at BCG would email me about were opportunities that I didn't see online. I would also look on my own online to see what positions were available and a lot of the firms that were looking, I didn't see online. Maybe the firms were trying to look in a confidential way or have recruiters just look for them so that #1 made it easier. I feel like I got exposure to opportunities that I wouldn't have found by myself. #2 - because there were so many opportunities and lists of firms they would email be about, if I wasn't interested in something because it's not the practice area that I want to focus on they had no problem with that whatsoever. They said "Okay, no problem. We want to make sure you find a job that you are happy in and not just place you anywhere." It made it really helpful to get a list of so many opportunities and if there were a couple that I just wasn't interested in, it wouldn't be a big deal because there were so many others they would email me about. Those 2 things made it really really helpful.Also, having Carleen, once I did get the offer, go back to the partners and express that I was really excited about the opportunity but to make sure to stress the things that were important to me I felt like made it a lot easier. I had a great experience working with you all, and I will be sure to refer any of my friends/associates/former colleagues to you whenever the time comes for them to start their job searching process.

I liked that you gave me a big list of firms [and] that I could check the ones I wanted [and uncheck] the ones I didn't want. I liked that you contacted me a lot. I worked a lot via text. That was easy for me to do discretely at work. I liked being constantly updated. When I had two offers I really appreciated that you [did] some negotiating for me between the two. It made it easier because I didn't feel like I had to spend all this time running through LinkedIn or Indeed or job sites. It made my search easier because it's nice when I see a big list of firms that potentially might have openings because [then] I get an idea of who's looking [and] what the market [is] like right now. And then of course everything was coordinated for me. So I could spend more time at my current job or just doing other things rather than just spending all my time emailing back and forth with HR management at various firms. I would say [BCG is] effective, friendly, and positive. I have worked with a couple recruiting companies and I would rank you as number one. I would describe you as having a really wide range. [You are] very aggressive in getting results, being very results oriented. I would [also] say [you are] modern and innovative. [You] clearly approach recruiting in a way that I think makes a lot of sense and is targeted to get results.

My decision to work with BCG to obtain a lateral associate position was well made. My recruiter demonstrated a remarkable wealth of knowledge regarding the legal market as well as a tireless effort to help me find the right fit. Moreover, after having received an offer at a top firm, when a client conflict issue arose which could have resulted in the offer being withdrawn, she personally helped me work through the issue to successfully resolve it, all the while keeping my spirits up. I could not have asked to work with a better recruiter!

Some of my favorite things about working with BCG include the following: Personalized service - It felt as if they got to know my background, qualifications, and needs moving forward; Frequent contact - my recruiter kept me well up to date on my status with various organizations and new opportunities; Trust - I had faith in my recruiter to seek out appropriate positions. This lessened my burden of needing to constantly be monitoring postings as I knew she would present me with opportunities that were a good fit; and just having someone to bounce ideas off of, remind me of the basics, and focus my thoughts heading into interviews.Working with BCG saved me time and energy! My recruiter was the first filter for all jobs and only contacted me with options that were a possible fit.The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are effective, efficient and reliable.I would rank BCG as the best compared to other recruiters. If you are looking to move firms, you need to contact BCG. Whether you are causally searching or in the need for a quick move, my recruiter will be the person in your corner. She was constantly on the lookout for possible fits, prepped me for possible scenarios/outcomes at interviews and guided me though the offer process. She saved me time and energy and I would most certainly recommend her to others.

I worked with Becca primarily, but there were other recruiters involved who were very good. I think the best thing that they did that I noticed was different from other recruiters that I've worked with in the past is the strategic approach they took to send the applications in [and] send resumes in to a large number of places. I thought that made a lot of sense and it worked out really well. And they were great to work with. For me, it turned out I was kind of an unusual candidate. It turned out to be a very quick process...I wasn't expecting that. I think part of that was just because of the strategy of applying widely. I thought that was great. [When I think of BCG] honestly the first word that comes to mind is Harrison Barnes. [He is] one of the reasons I liked BCG before I got involved with you guys. He is kind of well-known in the law community. I've always liked his articles...there were one or two in particular that I had read, I think about getting back into big law after a leave that I think were very good and well put together...it kind of put me over the edge...that's what made me decide to reach out. I do have another recruiting friend. I think it's notable that I didn't go with his company for this. I've got another recruiter that I've worked with and they have even placed me in the past and I didn't go with them. I put you guys ahead of them in terms of just getting the job done. I would describe you guys as being very efficient [and] very focused on the end result, which is great. Again, I think the whole approach from the beginning was [to] get the best results in the most efficient way. I think that that's the right approach.
