You work very hard and do an excellent job. After meeting with you, I came home and told my significant other that I wish that I had worked with you when I left my former firm. At the time, I thought all legal recruiters were essentially the same. I am pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. Thanks again!

I moved across the country to an entirely new legal market, and my recruiter was able to find me a position at a top firm within three weeks. She was professional, responsive, and I do not believe I could have secured this position without her assistance. She is an invaluable resource, and I would recommend her to any professional looking to make a move.

My recruiter was referred to me through a friend after I had attempted to work with several other recruiters with unhappy results. I was trying to do what many of them thought was nearly impossible - not only switch practice areas, but also transition back into Big Law after several years of not practicing law at all. Unlike other recruiters who'd quickly given up, my recruiter stayed positive, optimistic, and encouraging about my goal. She was always responsive, made me feel like a priority, and worked hard to find me opportunities. And together, we made the impossible possible. Thank you!

[BCG] made it easy to review potential employers, [and it was an] easy process. I got interviews with employers I wouldn't have otherwise considered or known about. [BCG is] simple and efficient. [BCG ranks] first [compared to other search firms]. [BCG is] simple and effective.

Some of my favorite things about working with BCG are that it was successful and that they are easy to work with.Working with BCG made me more aware of opportunities I didn't know about. It made the communication easier with the law firm that I eventually went to.The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are professional, effective, and responsive. I would rank BCG at or near the top compared to other recruiting companies.BCG is a very strong placement firm. I have a general impression that a lot of firms are just small shops that have a few connections but can't cast a wide net for you. BCG is the opposite. They are able to get in front of lots of potential opportunities, and [help you] put your best foot forward.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and thanks for the great efforts that you put into finding me a job. I felt that you thoroughly explored the market and provided me with accurate advice. Also, I appreciated your career advice. I never felt that you were trying to push me into just "any" job, but were constantly looking for the right fit. I also appreciated the personalized time and attention you provided me with. I don't think I could have found a better recruiter. I always had complete confidence in your skills. Again, many thanks for the great job.

What were some of my favorite things about working with BCG? One would be my recruiter Becca. I think she was honestly the best thing. I enjoyed the report that I got every week. For me, Becca made the experience. That's all I can really say. She was really responsive and always very positive. I also enjoyed getting the reports that let me know what was happening and what wasn't happening, who passed on me, who was interviewing me, [and] who was still sitting on my application. That was very useful and I enjoyed all that. But honestly I just liked my recruiter, a ton, from the beginning to the end. I think I may have gotten really lucky. How did working with BCG make my job search easier? To be honest you all did most of the work, I just went to the interviews when they came. One thing I did like is that I would get a pool of things that were available. I'm barred in a few states so it's kind of hard for me to search for a job in three different places. Also, Becca was able to let me know what was available in the three states I was interested in going to. From the firms that she found I was able to go to their websites and see what the department looked like and whether or not I really wanted to pursue any of those that were available. I think when you have three memberships in different states, that [using BCG] makes it a whole lot easier. The first three words that come to mind when I think about BCG are Becca, surprised, and success. I would say surprised because I learned much more about the company afterwards, so I was kind of nervous about being a part of it, but I thought it was pretty good. I would say success because I did get a job pretty quickly. I think it was six weeks. I worked with one other [recruiting firm] before and I have friends that have worked with them. Out of the ones that I have worked with personally you all were way better. I feel like I got more. At the other place if I contacted somebody I may not get a response all the time. [With] Becca, she was texting me and calling me [to keep me updated]. Anytime I would send something to her I would get a response within [about] an hour. Also, sometimes people don't like to give you bad news if you ask about it, but Becca was always open to letting me know what was going on. It seems like we were in the process together, which is very nice. If I were describing you to one of my peers I would say BCG is very professional and very efficient. You know that report you send every week? I received my report every Friday and it gave me some insight to what was going on. The other company I worked with didn't do that. I would say [you are] very efficient, and very up-to-date about what's going on. It's not like this process where you don't know what the recruiters [are] doing. I kind of had an idea of what Becca was doing. That made me feel a lot more comfortable because I felt like progress was being made. Even if I was getting denied or passed by, I still knew that my application was [getting sent] out [to] different places every week or that I was applying for one or two things every week. I guess that's the biggest thing. Becca was great. She was really responsive, and the reports just let me feel a little bit more at ease with what you all were doing and the places I was applying to. I was moving forward.

My recruiter has been more thorough than any other recruiter I've spoken to. I really appreciate the questions she has asked me, and the improvements she made to my resume.

I read Harrison's articles early in my career when I was a junior lawyer in Australia and found them extremely insightful, so please thank him on my behalf. I still periodically check the BCG website for new articles.

I seem to have a good shot at partnership at Milbank NY, so I'm looking to stay here and give it a go for a while at least.

Best regards,

Javad

I think that in particular Carleen was very responsive. She would communicate to me almost on a daily basis any developments. If I had concerns she would usually respond within a few minutes. It was also helpful to me that we did some on the phone interview practice and counseling. I think that made a difference in my interview that ultimately led to me getting the job that I have now. [Working with BCG] certainly cut out a lot of the leg work that I would have had to do on my own. I think it also helped to have a sort of professional middle person or institution communicating with the HR department in various firms which I think have their own industry wide way of communicating. I would describe BCG Attorney Search as aggressive and receptive. I would recommend what your firm has to offer.
