Karen was very helpful and answered all of the many many questions I had. Iliked the ability that I had to contact her and she was easy to communicatewith and responded fast. It is really hard to search for job and work a fulltime job. Having her also on the lookout and having her do a lot of the work- from finding the job to passing my information along saved me so muchtime. Being an attorney and trying to do that takes up so much of your time.One thing I really appreciated that Karen did was when I did have the joboffer we had a pretty lengthy phone call just discuss the pro's & con's andmy worries about it and really just having a human to human talk about it.That was really helpful and great for me because it is always scary andexciting to accept a new job. Carleen was very persistent, which I appreciated because I was being kind of lazy about my job search. She was also patient with me because I was initially open to going to a lot of places but then when it really came down to it I really only wanted a handful of markets and she was able to accommodate that. She discussed and negotiated with the firm I am at now because initially there was a Rochester opening and I said I didn't want that, and she discussed it with them and she was able to get Buffalo as an option. I think her patience and persistence were very important.

[Working with BCG] was super easy. It wasn't really looking for much of a change but I was able to select markets and practice fields. I thought it was overall really good getting all of the open positions. I think some of them could have been a little bit more tailored. Sometimes I was getting them for markets I wasn't interested in or certain admissions were required and I didn't have those, so that was a bit annoying. Same for practice areas - it was a bit too broad of a search. Overall it was good to see a lot of options and I was actually interested in a number of positions but there were still too many that were not my jurisdiction or practice area.

Carleen was really good, I appreciated her work. I think you guys did a pretty good job. Some of the blog posts and articles are a bit over the top and crazy, but overall I think the placement set up and the job search functions are really great.

Q.Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

A. I haven't really; I was contacted by a couple other recruiting firms. You guys were pretty great. I have recommended BCG to a couple of friends. I don't know if they are looking for the same tier of firms, as you work with some of the top tier stuff but I still recommended them.

I'm so impressed with your firm. I have a number of colleagues looking for jobs and will forcefully suggest that they work with your team. You're the only recruiters I'd give an A+ rating. No one can guarantee you a job, but you guys do everything you can to find and monopolize on opportunities.

The best thing about working with Becca and BCG is that it was so organized. Daily or every other day or so I would get new firms I would go through. Often times the interview times were set up through her and she had it on point. There were several times that Becca did mock interviews with me which was very good. She was always very responsive and very helpful.

[Using BCG] made my job search way easier. Before I would be applying individually to a firm here and there but being able to apply to 10-15 at a time made it made it way easier and things moved quicker. Becca and BCG were amazing!

My recruiter was amazing; they were very responsive, knew the market, understood my skills and were able to figure out a good firm for me to be at. It made it easier to have someone review my resume. My recruiter reviewed my cover letter, which was well drafted and that helped. Also targeting the potential firm helped. The first three words are: experienced, since I know most of your recruiters have been lawyers, so I think they can understand better; being responsive; and well prepared: every time before I was going somewhere my recruiter knew what to do what and say.
