I really enjoyed the app and text messages. I didn't have to constantly check my email. If I got notifications from the app it was so much straighter forward of what I was going in to address and to stay up to date. It was great because she could sift through the positions I was eligible for and that my credentials fit with. It was nice to look and the firm and go to the posting and then decide. It just streamlined the process so much more than having the comb through job boards or LinkedIn.She was so on top of everything. There were times when there was a delay in the process and I was probably annoying her with my constant enthusiasm trying to get updates but she seemed like she understood that. I was really impressed by the initial screening and all of the effort that BCG puts into getting to know the candidate, all of the information that is requested, and just the fact that you would want to get all of that right up front to make sure you have the full picture was a good indicator right off the bat. It indicated that you took your candidate seriously and really wanted to find a firm that was a good fit rather than just something that would be an easy contract. Karen herself was really lovely. She was very responsive and incredibly friendly to work with and a very good listener. She was very proactive without being pushy, which is a tough line to straddle, and she did it very successfully. She was excellent. I kept my own internal spreadsheet of where we had applied and what was going on, and just knowing that, especially with my non-conventional resume, I had someone who was presenting me in a very professional way, someone who was experienced at packaging a candidate rather than, from my perspective just sending my weird resume without context was challenging I think. Having someone to help usher that in in an appropriate, professional way, really made me more comfortable with applying. Karen was so lovely to work with and really was clearly on top of everything. I would absolutely work with BCG and specifically Karen in the future if the need arises.

She had done her research before calling me and she was really knowledgeable about the market and answered all of my questions. Really took the time to figure out what I wanted which I thought was different from other recruiters. She really listened to the types of firms I was looking for, she made suggestions. Generally, she was interested to know me, is the best way to describe it.

It was all done in 2 months so it was made really easy and she worked really hard. She crafted the cover letter and asked relevant questions. She did an amazing job and worked really hard. I had nothing to do except click on approving firms, she pretty much took care of everything. She kept me in the loop at all times. Every time she would receive an email she would let me know. She made herself available to answer my questions even super early in the morning. She prepared me for the interviews. We went through the difficult questions because I was relocating so I had only been with my current job for a year. We got from a couple recruiting coordinators the question of why I was not transferring to [previous firm] in San Francisco as opposed to looking for a new job. She helped me craft an answer that is better than one I would have come up with myself.

Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?

A. #1! Definitely much better service than any other recruiting agency I have used. I had actually stopped using recruiters altogether because I felt like they were just trying to pawn me off on the first possible firm as opposed to really listening to what I had to say. I have a different background for a lot of people because I come from France so a lot of recruiters were not paying attention to what I was saying and Zsaleh, in that respect, was amazing! I definitely think BCG is the best recruiting agency.
