I was really impressed by the initial screening and all of the effort that BCG puts into getting to know the candidate, all of the information that is requested, and just the fact that you would want to get all of that right up front to make sure you have the full picture was a good indicator right off the bat. It indicated that you took your candidate seriously and really wanted to find a firm that was a good fit rather than just something that would be an easy contract. Karen herself was really lovely. She was very responsive and incredibly friendly to work with and a very good listener. She was very proactive without being pushy, which is a tough line to straddle, and she did it very successfully. She was excellent. I kept my own internal spreadsheet of where we had applied and what was going on, and just knowing that, especially with my non-conventional resume, I had someone who was presenting me in a very professional way, someone who was experienced at packaging a candidate rather than, from my perspective just sending my weird resume without context was challenging I think. Having someone to help usher that in in an appropriate, professional way, really made me more comfortable with applying. Karen was so lovely to work with and really was clearly on top of everything. I would absolutely work with BCG and specifically Karen in the future if the need arises.

My recruiter in Los Angeles was absolutely wonderful. I had a difficult time finding a job because of my focus in my practice area. A lot of recruiters gave up on me. They would get very excited, but after a few weeks or months they would have trouble placing me and they would give up. And my recruiter did not. My recruiter was interested in me and she was very determined. My recruiter was able to get me interviews at great firms. They stuck with me until we found a placement, a good home for me.
