Senior Aviation Finance Financial Services Associate/Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly qualified Senior Aviation Finance Financial Services Associate/Counsel to join its team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate should possess 4-6 years of experience representing lenders and/or lessors of commercial aircraft in leasing, purchase and sale, and financing transactions. The role requires expertise in leading both domestic and cross-border transactions, exceptional academic performance, and strong interpersonal skills.

Duties:

• Represent lenders and/or lessors of commercial aircraft in leasing, purchase, sale, and financing transactions.
• Provide legal advice and support on aviation finance matters.
• Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to aviation finance transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis about aviation finance laws and regulations.
• Assist clients in structuring and executing complex aviation finance transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in aviation finance law.
• Strong understanding of aviation finance transactions and related legal principles.
• Excellent academic performance in law school.
• Admitted to practice law in North Carolina or eligible for admission via reciprocity.

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
