A law firm is seeking a Senior Fund Finance/NAV Finance/Subscription Line Associate Attorney or Counsel for its Charlotte, NC office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Job Overview: The Senior Fund Finance/NAV Finance/Subscription Line Associate Attorney or Counsel will be primarily responsible for representing borrowers, agents, lead arrangers, and lenders on various fund finance facilities. The role requires substantial experience in NAV-based, subscription credit, capital call, and other fund finance facilities for corporate credit, private equity, real estate, and other investment funds.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in fund finance matters, including NAV-based facilities, subscription line credit facilities, and other related financing arrangements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements, loan, and related legal documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments related to fund finance transactions.
  • Assist clients in structuring and closing fund finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and legal issues related to fund finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in fund finance, focusing on NAV-based facilities, subscription line credit facilities, and related financing arrangements.
  • Prior experience representing borrowers, agents, lead arrangers, and lenders in fund finance transactions.
  • Strong understanding of corporate credit, private equity, real estate, and other investment funds.
  • Experience working with CLOs is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience at a large law firm is essential.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
