Job Overview:
A well-established plaintiff-side law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking two experienced Litigation Associates to join its dynamic legal team. The role offers hands-on involvement in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation, discovery, depositions, and client advocacy. Duties:

• Manage a caseload of 40–70 matters, depending on experience

• Represent individuals in civil litigation involving:

  • Motor vehicle accidents

  • Premises liability

  • Product liability

  • Personal injury claims

• Conduct and defend depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts

• Draft pleadings, including complaints for basic and complex matters

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, including:

  • Motions for Summary Judgment

  • Demurrers

  • Discovery-related motions

• Assist with trial preparation, including jury instructions, verdict forms, and motions in limine

• Collaborate with legal support teams to effectively manage litigation strategy

Requirements:

• Active license in good standing with the California State Bar

• Willingness and ability to handle a high-volume caseload

• Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and team-based environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• California Bar admission required

• Nevada Bar admission is an advantage

Skills:

• Strong research skills, including familiarity with Shephard’s and KeyCite

• Proficiency with WestlawNext or LexisAdvance

• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters

• Technical fluency in:

  • Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Outlook

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Adobe Acrobat DC
