Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join its personal injury department in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time, in-person position for a seasoned litigator with at least five years of experience in California personal injury law. The role requires strong litigation, trial, and client advocacy skills, and offers a competitive base salary with performance-based commission and bonuses.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA 

Duties:

• Take full ownership of personal injury cases from intake through resolution or trial

• Represent clients in court, including hearings, motions, and trials

• Conduct and defend expert and lay witness depositions

• Prepare and manage comprehensive trial materials

• Draft high-quality legal documents including motions, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence

• Develop and execute effective discovery strategies, including propounding and responding to discovery

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case development

• Communicate regularly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel

• Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation

• Support trial preparation and strategy with tactical insight and legal acumen

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience focused on personal injury cases in California

• Proven experience with expert and lay witness depositions

• Strong command of California Civil Procedure

• Demonstrated success in managing cases independently through resolution or trial

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also self-directing responsibilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California
