Duties:

  • Conducted legal research and analysis on tax-related issues related to executive compensation and benefits.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including employment agreements, executive compensation packages, and benefit plans.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding employment law matters.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and hearings as required.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting executive compensation, employment, and benefits.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits and compensation within a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington, DC Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, ERISA, and other relevant executive compensation and benefits regulations.

Education:

  • Admission to the Washington, DC Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.
